I loved the first season and think this will season will be a goodin' too; the trailer was great and I was quite happy to see it was following Game of Thrones.

Decent first episode. One pet peeve though is they seem to have gone overboard with the silent, moody, staring shots already. It was like a who's who of depressed drunks getting ready for their AA meeting.

Yep. I'm trying to stay open minded and trying to forget the first series but it was pretty obvious this episode was too intent on showing us how damaged all the characters are.

All feels a little forced so far, but once the characters are set up the story will drive it home.

Kitsch gets typecast as a soldier/former soldier again.

SPOILERS

I didn't see that coming. Apparently there are scenes in the series promo featuring XYZ that haven't been in the first two episodes...

It's not really anything like the first season apart from the title and some of the aesthetics.

Solid second ep, looking forward to seeing where they take it.

Another good episode, really think this show is ticking along nicely.

Agree. I don't see what is so different from the first season other than more main/different characters. It's dark, there was a gruesome murder and there is a deeper evil group lurking in the background which will later become a bigger part of the story.

Was a little bored during that episode. And as if he's dead, I don't see the point of doing that.

Some of the dialogue feels more forced than the first season, uncomfortably so.

Vaughn is poorly cast imo, hes just not able to carry what I'm guessing is supposed to be a very complex character and without that hes just another cliched gangster trying to go legitimate.

A couple of bits also feel clumsy and don't flow very well.

The opening scene was quite lame, it got much better after that imo.

Hmmm, he may be dead but HBO did state Colin Farrell was signed for 8 episodes. Maybe the rest will be back story, who knows.

It would be tough to survive buck shot at point blank range to the chest...

Series trailer has scenes with him that have not been in the first two episodes.

could be deleted scenes...

I fail to see how he survives two point blank shotgun blasts to the chest but time will tell I guess.
