Phew at last we can breath a sigh of relief.I had to put on my glasses
Glass half empty.LOL, gotta laugh at some Saints fans.
Been battling for spoon in recent times, have had off field issues enough to give lawyers early retirement, we lose a major sponsor ( whom happens to be a bank ), yet we suddenly find our moral compass when a new sponsor is a billionaire ( propped up by major banks ).
Oh when the Saints !!!
Wouldn’t it be great if Twiggy in time falls in love with the Red V & buys out Win. Like Rusty is with Souths. I can only dream about a REAL committed owner. From my reading in the last day, the Port Kembla facility is marked as “firming”. Which I (mis?) understand to be a gas facility to fill in the gaps in the renewable supply.
I had heard months? Years? ago that Twiggy was looking to put a hydrogen plant there.
So I’m unsure except that it’s unlikely to be windmills and solar there, although Squadron has wind and solar farms elsewhere.
I am super pleased with this change of fortunes and hope it leads to a long term relationship and growing interest from Twiggy in the Dragons.
I’m going to be the outsider and say that Gordon’s aren’t doing a terrible job. They are part owner, and since buying out 50%, have made changes. Sure, there isn’t an endless supply of brown paper bags, but I feel we are finally on the way up. We are really getting the back room in order it feels, which with a good coach puts us in a great position to jump up the ladder on field. It won’t happen overnight, but I finally feel it will.Wouldn’t it be great if Twiggy in time falls in love with the Red V & buys out Win. Like Rusty is with Souths. The old moral code tickled my funny bone also.LOL, gotta laugh at some Saints fans.

Billionaires conspire with billionaires, to cobble up millionaires. Its a dragon eat dragon world out there.I’m going to be the outsider and say that Gordon’s aren’t doing a terrible job. I would love to see Andrew Forrest on the Dragons website shaking hands with several of our players. That would be great.Phew at last we can breath a sigh of relief.
Welcoming AFB & Dearden to the club would be betterI would love to see Andrew Forrest on the Dragons website shaking hands with several of our players. That would be great.
At least he is pumping cash into renewable energy which the country needs to. Hydrogen is a gamble we need to take. The old moral code tickled my funny bone also.
How is Twiggy's business morally corrupt compared to some other sponsors, Grog, Insurance, Gambling companies, fast food, telco's, banks even bloody milk offends offends the Vegans as it is not the cow's choice to provide milk for human consumption.
We should count our blessings (And the cash)
to lateMaybe - Welcome Andrew.
What I’ve seen of this guy he seems pretty cool.
Let’s not portray ourselves as Bogan TRuckwits.

I'm not fawning over the person , I'm fawning over his business smarts, I dont begrudge anyone making money and becoming a billionaire, good luck to him. If he has done so in unscrupulous ways, then he has to live with that and it may catch up with him. But this is a business deal and has the capacity to help the Dragons immensely which is what we need and have needed for a long time. I mean you have the Murdochs, Packers , Reinhart, the guy who won the Americas cup. I probably wont ever meet the guy personally and I may not even like him, but anything that helps my beloved club to at least compete with the elite business savvy teams, then welcome welcome welcome. It's not like I'm burning my jersey or anything ffs. I just find the obsequious fawning over an unscrupulous billionaire a bit nauseating.

We the taxpayers are the ones pumping in the money SnowDragon, we make sure these borderline projects get going by subsidising them to the hilt and making them a no risk investment for leaches with money to clean. Thats what silly initiatives like nett zero are (apart from fantasy). In the meantime hundreds of 300m high wind turbines (dark ages technology the size of Centrepoint Tower) are being proposed for positioning 10km off the Illawarra coastline, with their undoubted negative impact on precious marine life and whale migratory paths,...as well as on the lives of the residents of the Illawarra. This is a political move for money, they all are.At least he is pumping cash into renewable energy which the country needs to. Hydrogen is a gamble we need to take.
how he got here is one point, but his wife and he are doing the right thing, even if separated.
Shouldn't we be blaming our government who are putting these policies up, we voted them in. Why blame the business's that are going to take advantage of such a situation, they will employ people and make a profit at no risk. The government is put in place to look after our national interest, if ridiculous policies weren't in place, then there would be no reason for business to exploit them, and as you said its our money and we have no say how its used, thats what we vote our politicians into parliament for.We the taxpayers are the ones pumping in the money SnowDragon, we make sure these borderline projects get going by subsidising them to the hilt and making them a no risk investment for leaches with money to clean.
