Maybe it’s time for Tyrone to think about playing overseas for a couple of years in the English Super League, competition Is weaker there, he might regain the confidence In his leg that he had before his acl operation, might let him grow up a bit to if he can get a visa

I tend to agree Bob, good point.

It would help break the cycle that Tyonne is currently in. A cycle where the media appear to stalk his every move.

France probably would be better than UK.

This good be a sensible option, get the outrage brigade off Panther's and May's back too.

It’s the law. Legal precedents. Case Law, google it.

Are you suggesting the family of the victim should somehow seek there own retribution? Really.

As I understand she was or is pursuing damages in the civil courts. Hopefully she receives adequate compensation pursuing her case through lawful endeavours.
Yeah and anyone else in a pub who wants to give him a touch up if fine by me

Settled for an undisclosed sum some months back. Interestingly this would have left the way open for the other woman, from the north coast, to do likewise but she hasn't bothered, nor has she talked to media.
You’ve refreshed my memory, I recall the settlement now.

It brings up an interesting argument, if you are a victim of something untoward, much better the perpetrator is someone of some standing because otherwise you will get nothing.

The vast majority of women who are victims of significant domestic violence get nothing, no justice and no financial compensation. Thats the real world.

I hope this post doesn’t attract to many likes, because it is just so wrong it really doesn’t require further comment.

Not so long ago you tarnished the entire Royal Family with an inexplicable post around Prince Andrew’s current situation. I bit my tongue stayed away, but these sort of extremist views, need to be called out. You just can’t make these sort of statements regardless of what your personal views are. It’s just wrong.

Which laws has he breached post sentencing?
To answer what laws were breached post sentencing.

Section 9 Good Behaviour Bonds may not be just a general "the person to be of good behaviour" for a certain period of time they may have specific conditions attached to them and if these are breached the Good Behaviour Bond could be revoked and either a custodial jail term/ intensive correction order or home detention order imposed instead.

If there was a condition about not discussing the court case or the court decision in any way shape or form on any platform (print/electronic etc) then he would be in breach of the Good Behavior Bond.

I didn’t realise that Drake was ‘singing’ about May’s court case specifically in this song; obviously a huge May fan.

Of course (and more often than not) in sex crime cases there are specific provisions against mentioning the victim in any form of media; that is of course vitally important protection to people who have been wronged. But this is not that.

As much as some people on here would like it to be so, the law isn’t there to ‘muzzle’ offenders who have done their time. They have the same rights as everyone else in society, be that to quote bad songs or express their feelings on social media. Of course, if he commits a real crime he would have the book thrown at him (and rightfully so), but as much as people don’t agree with what he wrote and it affronts them, it is not a crime.

I’m also a bit afraid that this is classified as bringing the game into disrepute; I’m worried that the shrieking heads in the ‘media’ get to read a post and decide if it is outrageous or not. That to me is scary.

Marshall in reality you have no idea. I have no idea about his good behaviour bond, and I suggest neither do you.

May have specific conditions. Could be revoked

I've highlighted the signficant words in bold.

I think the phrase is 'pissing in the dark', works well to explain your comment Marshall.

Wow this thread has degenerated. Look at the divisiveness May has brought to our once proud forum - in a premiership season and all!

Sorry Abasus this is what a forum is all about.

I don't want to be part of a forum where everyone thinks the same. That is nothing but a 'cheer squad'.

Folks having different opinions is not 'divisiveness'.

So your blaming May because folks have different opinions.

I'm expecting you now to blame May for the broken trophy, JFK's death, and world hunger.

LOL. This is usually a divided forum. The only thing strange for me is that I am agreeing with a bunch of people I usually disagree with and am vehemently opposed to a few in here that I usually agree with on 95%+ of issues.

Well if he wasn't a Panther we wouldn't be spending all this time talking about him...so yep, May's fault.

As for the broken trophy, JFK's death, and world hunger I'd never really joined the dots before...but you could be on to something.
