Sometimes I wonder just how many of the die hard Citeh fans are happy with the current situation and how how many would prefer things the way they were before sugar daddy came along.

Gee Madrid looked very slick this morning. Even from this early stage it looks like the winner will be one of Real, Barca, or Bayern.

actually I wasn't, I just read comments from a few Citeh fans who said want their old club back

They are lying then.

Even though the club has sold its soul to become a rich mans play thing, and does everything they hated United form (only worse), they love it.

Hypocrites. The lot of them. Better to just point and laugh at them.

I don't get Dortmund, they can arse-rape the Bundesliga but just can't step up when it comes to Europe matches...

Glad Valencia got a goal back against Chelsea.

I see Chelsea got 3 yellows in stoppage time. Is this an indication that Valencia had a lot of attacking momentum? (maybe someone who watched it may know, i'm relying on live scores here....)

There's your problem. People need to realise the Bundesliga is as poor as Serie A. It's only strength is the relative competitiveness of its teams (compared to each other). I said it before and I maintain it, no German team would make the top 2 (or maybe even 3) in Spain or the top 4 in England.

The 7 (maybe 8) best teams in the world are English and Spanish.

Also, who were the only English team to win this week? Yes that's right.

Munich would disagree. They're easily up there.
Munich finished 10 points behind the team that is being made to look average by non German competition.

Sure they've started well this year and will probably win the 3rd best league in europe, but let's not get too carried away by them beating a team in crisis on a day where that team's star striker refused to play and another player had a tantrum after being subbed.

But I'll concede slightly. I'll take Munich before Liverpool and Valencia. But Barcelona, United, Madrid, City, Chelsea and Arsenal (in that order) are better. Then you have Munich, followed by Liverpool and Valencia. And the good Milan rounding out the top 10.

You are saying the team that was demolished by Bayern without a whimper a day or two ago is better than them? You think Chelsea and Arsenal are better than them?
You are so delusional it isn't funny. The fact that you don't even watch the Bundesliga exposes how 'credible' your opinions are.
They have more money and a better squad than most teams in the world, the fact that the Bundesliga is so tightly contested despite Bayern's superiority is a huge indication of the quality of the league.
Any team in the world bar perhaps RM and Barcelona would crave Lahm, Neuer, Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Muller and Robben. And those names are just off the top of my head.

Not to mention teams like Milan and Inter would spank a lot of those teams you mentioned when they are playing as well as they should be.

That's why the reigning champions of Germany are getting outclassed on the bigger stage? Arsenal, in our weakest position in 15 years proved to be the equal of Germany's champions.

Since then we've improved, I'd put money on us beating any German team right now. And there is 5 teams above us in England and Spain who would beat any German team even more easily.

Dortmund won't get through the group stage. Munich won't get past the last 8 (if they even get to that round). That's the cream of the crop in Germany.

Citeh too?

Could it be a mental or conditioning thing? As it'd be the first time a lot of the players on both sides have played mid-week matches against a higher class of opponent.

As for where does Bayern stand in Europe :

Barca
R.Madrid.
Man.U
Bayern.

And that's coming from a Bayern fan.

BvB have had their team raided and they are playing like absolute crap, an excuse you used to dignify Citeh's loss to Bayern. Give up you pathetic hypocrite. Bayern would destroy Arsenal 4-nil currently or more, if they dismantled Citeh's then you have no hope.
Start watching football before you attempt to impose your foolish, uninformed opinions, you might find it less embarrassing that way.

With you being a stubborn know it all fool, I'm hoping Arsenal and Bayern get drawn together in the last 8 (I think both teams will win their groups and so should get past the round of 16).

England's 4th best team would beat Germany's best and we'd be playing in a Champions League semi very quickly and you'd be quiet.

You mean sitting in 11th in 2011/12 BvB? They had no injuries last season, no suspensions. They won because we gave up like 15 points.

The BL is officialy better than Serie A.

If you think that Valencia, Villarreal, Arsenal, Cheaty, Chelsea are all better than us then you have NFI. An English team hasn't defeated us at home for 20 years that includes Roman's Revolution, Man United and a couple of trips from Arsenal when they were supposedly at their prime. You're probably not even old enough to remember Cesc spitting on Ballack in the game after we destroyed you 3-1 at the Olympiastadion. English teams are not a problem for us and never have been. Of all the teams in the world it's Italian teams we have trouble with.

We just steam rolled the so called third best team in England. We toyed with Villarreal. We would easily come second in England in and Spain.

Munich finished 10 points behind the team that is being made to look average by non German competition.

How can you take City over us when we just raped them? We have never lost an aggregate tie to Man United. Valencia would not score against us. The Arsenal game would get given the mercy rule.

Cheaty didn't become a team in crisis until they played us. Your logic is so geniused it's not funny.

The reigning champions have injuries, their best player was stolen and they don't have the funds to replace him and the average age would be about 13.

The only team stopping us from the last 8 are Barcelona.

f**k I hope this comes true. We would absolutely rape Arsenal like we always do. Which one of your wingers would contain Robbery, Rafinha or Lahm? None. Your midfield wouldn't get through Gustavo. Your only hope would be that DVB plays but if Man Cheaty couldn't take advantage of that you have no hope. Schweinsteiger was in first gear all night against Cheaty and their midfield poos all over Arsenal. The off chance you break our defence you have nobody who will put it past Neuer anyway.

You don't watch any BL, you don't know shit. You know less about football than you do cricket and RL which is astonishing. To be underestimated by a genius like you is in actual fact a compliment. You haven't picked a winner all season, you couldn't even pick a winner 3/4 through last weeks Storm/Warriors match so if you are saying we're done I'm booking my flight to Munich tonight instead of in February.

Your entitled to your opinion. I obvious disagree. But gee, every night and day I'll be praying for Arsenal v Bayern in the quarters.

BTW, you excused Dortmund's shitty play because of injuries. Well we have almost an entire 11 out because of injuries and suspensions. We haven't had close to our 1st 11 playing at once.

Once Vermaelen comes back (an all EPL CB his last uninterrupted season) our defense will be so much better. Even in the midst of our slump we've been scoring goals. Once we get a functional defense to go with our attack we'll be back to firing on all cylinders. So yes I'd love a Arsenal - Bayern matchup in the last 8, and I'd be very confident going into it.
