And that is why teams continue to use the parking the bus tactic when faced with an obviously superior opponent.

seems to be their way, I could understand if they were a couple of goals up instead of just 1

That would have to be the most deceiving 2-2 scoreline ever. Barca absolutely dominated the game. Both Milan goals felt so surreal. Pato's one because it came so quickly and Silva's because it just seemed so bizarre that Milan could equalize after doing nothing for large parts of the game.

But it Barca's fault that they didn't finish the game off. Really should have scored more than 2. Iniesta went off injured and it looks like he could be out for a month.

Start of the game was pretty interesting as Barca were a nightmare in defense, and Milan (Pato in particular) looked to slice them open whenever they got the ball in decent position.

Milan played anti football in the Audi cup ffs Typical f**king Italians with their 10 men behind the ball bullshit

Easy win and should have won by more.

Ribery is playing the best I've seen him play since his debut season with us in 2007 and it's no surprise it all comes down fitness.

No team in the world has a better sit of wingers and fullbacks on both sides than we have but the problem is they're rarely fit together, get 'em at full fitness and Daniel Van Buyten at the back is of no concern.

Yeah thats true.

Its the one time you can let them off though. :D

It's effective that's for sure. Watching them in the Audi Cup I immediately thought they would make a minimum of the semi finals their compact defence stays structured but we were able to exploit them with fast one touch passing after 75 minutes and take players out of position so they're definitely vulnerable there.

I know it was only pre-season but you could see a lot of what Milan were about in those games. You would have to hope Ibra is not as clinical as he was that night scoring off a counter attack from his first effort.

Its how they play. Its upto the other teams to do something about it. Best way to beat it is to play 2 very wide men. This stretched the defence across the pitch and leaves gaps in the middle. Oh and don't kick it towards Nesta.

As for your wingers. I wouldn't swap ours for yours, but then you probably wouldn't swap either. :D

well I'm a Milan fan and if I were the opposition I'd be aiming at Nesta, brilliant layer but way past his best very slow now due to his injuries, he'll never return to his glory days unfortunately

Thiago Silva on the other hand, I'd kill to have him at Spurs

Would have loved to see the live odds at halftime...

Lol Cheaty were going to provide us with a stern test, better off playing Müller's village team again than these plastic fußballhures

City won't get out of the group stage. But unless a CL failure starts some serious infighting amongst the overpaid softhearts, getting out this early could actually give the merkins a better chance of winning the premier league.

Agreed.

Dzeko has a sook when being subbed, Tevez refuses to come on.

The over-paid prima donna stereotype sure is worthy.
