f**k. I wanted Real. Oh well. We are gonna get f**ked up by Bayern. Still gonna be awesome though. Will be nice to see a team actually try to play football against Barca.

Give it a rest!

Arsenal made them look average at there own ground so Barca will walk it.

Will be interesting to see how Dortmund set up vs Madrid. The best way to play Madrid is to put someone on Alonso, Ozil and Khedira are not good enough to run the game like him.

However Dortmund don't play with a player to play that role and Goetze or Ruess don't have the game so i wonder if Klopp will change it a bit, maybe push a player like Bender higher with the job to shut Alonso down and cut of the supply to Ronaldo.

However, we only ever get eliminated if we have the 2nd leg at home. I would say it's a disadvantage to us. I would prefer away 2nd leg

Stunned to see Barcelona have the second leg at home, that never happens....

The last time Barcelona played the second leg of a European tie away from home was a quarter final in 2011

And the time before that was the semi final v us in 2009...

What's your point? Man U haven't had a 2nd leg of a QF or SF away since 2009 yet we don't see the same aspersions being cast.

That is because only you have a such massive complex about United and English football in general though... ;-)

Barca have scored 99 league goals so far, Bayern 83. Yet I don't think it's gonna be a high-scoring tie.

What do you think this weeks lottery numbers are going to be?

I'll be sure to chose something different...

Didn't see this coming, but as Iniesta and Xavi get older the rest of the world class players suddenly don't look so good.

Problem with this team is it hasn't evolve at all in the past few seasons, we're playing the same way we were 3-4 years ago and have the same deficiencies, there's been calls to go out and sign a top class centre back for years but they've not done so and the proof was in the pudding tonight, Bartra and Piqué got torn a new one. Alves is an absolute liability out there, poor defender and wastes too many opportunities going forward. Xavi has been a legend but I think Tito has to bite the bullet, at this present moment Cesc is a superior player. I was dumbfounded that we were getting raped and Tito didn't make a substitution until the 81st minute when we were 4-0 down, I mean I think it's a little bit late then.
In my opinion we need abit of a mini overhaul like the Ronaldinho team had, first item on the agenda is the defence, Puyol can't be counted on any more, Piqué has been a shadow of his former self and Alves is simply a liability. Minimum requirement is height, we need some size and some athleticism wouldn't hurt either. Up front I'd offload Sanchez, he just doesn't fit in, I'd give Tello more game time because he offers something different, he's got blistering speed and he plays direct.

That was a walkover, however in our defense, 2 of those goals should've been fouls for us. My gosh that 3rd goal was a foul if I've ever seen one. I have no idea what the hell the ref was looking at when that goal was scored. I thought the NRL refs were bad... these UEFA pricks have their eyes painted on.

Anyone else want throw an El Clasico CL final conspiracy? Go ahead...

Pique has been found out for the average defender he was at United.

The problem is they have built a team around three guys. Two are fading and the other one was playing on one leg.

Barca also have no plan B if it goes wrong. Never had one, but when they are on top form they don't need one.

Also i hope we can finally put the wisdom that possession is a really important stat.

The refs this year have been terrible. Tonight was bad, Dortmunds last min winner vs Malaga was bad and the muppet at OT for the United Real game was a joker to.

To be fair it should only have been 2-0 to Bayern (Gomez was obviously offside and for Goal #3 I didn't realise shoulder charges were legal in football).

After they won in 2011, most including myself said that Barca had to buy a few new centre-halves to maintain their dominance. They didn't and they deluded themselves into thinking that a geriatric Puyol, an inconsistent Pique and a fill-in in Mascherano would be sufficient. 2 years on they were finally exposed at the back.
