Only ever known 2 grandmas. One died when I was 8, one doesn't even know what planet she is on anymore. Both my grandfathers died when my parents were kids.

Sorry to hear it, Red Bear. The last of my grandparents passed away while I was in China. I missed the deaths and funerals of both of my Dad's folks being abroad, while another of my grandparents passed away shortly before I left back in 2007.

The world's a little less secure when your grandparents have passed away. Thinking of you and your family.

my grandfather is my hero. above anyone else in the world i admire him & his deeds and think if i can turn out anywhere near the man he is, i'll be doing ok..

sad that his mind is slipping away now, i'm already missing the conversations we used to have..
