I was surprised there were any Lebanese, I've never met anyone from Lebanon so the 15 or so that turned up was a great bonus.

If Lebanon can beat Samoa, they will draw some huge numbers to the World Cup Finals next year in Australia.
Lebanon with this side could cause some headaches in the Finals next year.

Samoa will have to really show up in just four days, and their plan for tomorrow is to get on the piss and go to watch NZ play from their post game interviews.

The team manager George Elias just said if Australia played Lebanon at Telstra Stadium they will sellout. Getting a bit ahead of himself. Even Origin doesnt sellout in Sydney.

Apparently Samoa will have their full strength side for next weeks game. All the NRL/ESL players who didnt play today will play next week since it is the final.

Part of me really wishes that they didn't. It was a really good game today but if there'd a lot of NRL players it'll become a clash of the 5 hit ups and wrestle from Samoa. Pure shock and awe with little chance of more free-flowing play from Lebanon
