We'll struggle to put points on the board without Tomkins who is clearly our most important player on attack, which is surprising since he is not a genuine attacking fullback by some accounts

I'm glad others are commenting on the reffing. The Broncos seemed gifted advantage. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy but when a club with so much clout and channel 9 favouritism get so many calls going their way it's easy to dislike the club.

The Warriors didn't help themselves with 35% first half possession or 9/15 completion rate, that was their fault. Totally different team second in the second half.

Spend the $10k Cappy, it'll be worth it as we're playing the Storm in Melbourne next and the refs are scared of Cam Smith

The Tomkins criticism was perfectly justified in parts of last season, but that said you're on the money here because he's come along so well. Our best footy this season was when he was on the park.

The one thing Lolohea could offer over Tomkins is kick returns and after about two of them he looked out of gas and barely carried the ball back with intent the rest of the game.

As a neutral fan the final 5 minutes was hilarious.

2 broncos knock ons got call Ed against the warriors.

No idea what the penalty in front of the posts was for ?

Apparently you can knock on and score ?

Worst video decision ive ever seen.

The Broncos knockon where we didn't get advantage was the worst one for me. I can't think of any scenario or interpretation in my mind that doesn't end with the Warriors getting a fresh set of 6 inside the Bronc's half. Was just speechless when that call happened.

The cricket is going down the plughole so I thought I would check in here.
I thought the forwards went OK. The backs, Chad aside, were horrible.
I keep telling myself it will get better when Johnson gets back - then I realise he is out there.... somewhere.
Wright is totally out of his depth.

Yes Wright was atrocious and should be dropped as soon as Laumape can come back, hopefully next week as he played yesterday, and there were tries stuffed up. But f@@k me, the refs put one hell of a performance, to celebrate our 20th anniversary they gave one of their most shocking performances ever, it's very hard sometimes to not believe it was a setup, go for the $10000 fine Cappy.

Us as fans should take up a collection to raise $10,300.
10k for cappy to abuse the ref's and 300 for a one way ticket back to Sydney for Wright.

I lost my voice shouting Chechens a wanker from the east stand , the refs we're awful but we lost that game in the first half , wright and allgood both looked gassed from the get go. Nothing against TL but we looked a lot more fluent when Freind came on.

Our first real test against a top team , hope we get Tomkins , Hurrell and Laumape back soon

No. Johnson is the 7, that will not change... and nor should it. Tui will play 1 until Tomkins returns.

Tui might've dropped a couple today, but he was far from our biggest problem. Allwood's defensive option taking was suspect at best, Wright was downright awful - only beaten to the 'worst performer of the match' award by some disgraceful match official work.

Despite an awful first half (and some seriously bad finishing in the second) we still should have won that match, only to be done out of it by ref & video ref. That's my only consolation (well, that and our soon to return players) from what has been a hugely disappointing day all around.

Worst Warriors performance in years. Commentators commented on SJ's passing being hampered by injury. Maybe, but he was rubbish and most of the poor plays stemmed from his poor passing. Pretty sure he is trying but he is off form.

Everyone is commenting on Wright, he was ordinary, but so was every back. Manu had a shocker too. Kata was not good.

The forwards kept the Warriors in it. We have a good pack this year. TL and Mannering's tackling was unbelievable. TL stops blokes 3 times his size and hammers them.

The refs were appalling and deserve to go back to reserve grade.

I suspect we will not win another game until Tompkins gets back.

 have to laugh at Wright being the scapegoat. (this coming from someone who has spoken out about buying the wrong Shark....)
I guess every team needs one.
Fair call for previous weeks, but I don't think he was our worst player yesterday at all. Wouldn't think he deserves all the criticism
I think, from memory, only one of their tries went down his side. Plus he did the jump to set up Allwoods try.
Can't recall any handling errors, although there may have been.

Moving away from Wright.
Felt Manu had a bit of a mare, as did Vete.

Weird game - pack going ok though... still not convinced by TL, sure he hits harder than Friend, but that's it...

Matulino impressive again, as was the back row - and although not perfect Townsend was good again - the backs were pretty woeful, Johnson awful, Manu lots of mistakes but again the effort was huge... not really sure why Wright would be top of people's hit lists tbh

The young props might need a rest

Wright knocked on a bomb which I believe led directly to the Broncos first try. That was against the grain of play as the Warriors looked quite intense defensively for the first 10 minutes and I thought we'd be first to score. That's where the momentum shifted and we got dominated for the remainder of the half.

Sure he may not have been the worst on the field yesterday, but he's clearly out of his depth and the sooner we get guys back from injury the better.
