Sam is a MASSIVE LOSS. We can't cover him. He has nerve damage and is expected to be out for some time.

Reyno is a big loss.

Sutto is a big loss.

Carter is a fairly big loss too.

Our forwards will be too predictable. Our kicking is shite without Adam.

Don't think we can stop the offloads.

Without Sam our team loses belief.

What if Sam does play on friday?

Sam has said he wants to play on friday night but the final call would be up to the medical staff of the rabbitohs.

I am looking forward to Clark, Turner and Tyrell taking on the Dogs pack without Sam

We will be able to see more clearly who are the true NRL players and who are the NSW Cup players

Same goes for the backline

We ain't just without Sam either:

Sam (massive massive loss)
Reyno (massive loss)
Sutto (really big loss)
Tom (really big loss)
Carter (big loss)
Musgrove (is powerful with energy, we miss him too)

Who have you guys got out?????

B. Morris.

Do you guys have over 2million of your cap out???????

I reckon the ANSWER IS NO.

Won't be out of hospital until Wed or Thurs.

Seems he has suffered some nerve damage.

I say he's a zero percent chance of playing.

Very unhappy Souths members in this link re Maxwell. Also re U20's many are disgusted. Someone has a link on this link with the pic of Dragons knocking on clearly. So there is evidence. The whole day seemed to be match fixed many think too on other sites.

Also at the end of the U20's we got robbed. They knocked on clearly and it was given a try.

Many have had a gutful.

Many, many, many.......... I could post links about unhappy people all day wanting us to get a fair go against the Bulldogs but I won't waste my time.

It's about time others started saying how it is on here. Some passion and some getting fired up is what's needed.

Cmon Newc, Southsport, alien, shadow, Rsag85 time to say it how it is like many others are.

People I know aren't going if we get Maxwell or Cecchin.

They say they already know what'll happen with those 2.

South Sydney Facebook page has a lot of truth tellers on it. I can read the comments. I don't have Facebook either.

Take a look alien and Southsport plus Rsag85.

He's been released already. If he plays its a disgrace, for the seriousness of the injury and to back up 5 days later looks poor for all concerned. Hopefully he's rested.

Clark Excited to Play in Good Friday Clash

Words & Video: Tom Skolarikis & Guy Bevan
Tue 22nd March, 09:53AM A A http://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/_jcr_content/par/newslist_95ce.rss

The annual Good Friday clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs is one of the highlights on the NRL calendar, and Rabbitohs forward Jason Clark is excited by the chance to be a part of it.
The utility forward has been a part of the last two Good Friday blockbusters at ANZ Stadium – matches that attracted a combined total of over 80,000 Members and supporters in 2014 and 2015.
With Sydney’s Royal Easter Show also in full-swing right next door, Clark is urging proud Rabbitohs everywhere to get out to the ground and throw their support behind he and his men to create that Good Friday atmosphere.
“It’s a big game for both clubs – It’s obviously a great weekend for it,” said an excited Clark.
“Families can head out to the Easter show early in the morning and go to the game in the afternoon and make a day of it.”

Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, will today (Tuesday) announce his team to take on the Bulldogs in the traditional clash. Stay tuned to Rabbitohs.com.au for the team announcement that will answer a number of Burning Questions ahead of the highly anticipated matchup.
All tickets to the Good Friday match include entry and return travel on Sydney Trains and Olympic Park Major Event Buses, so leave the car at home and take advantage of the additional and direct public transport services in place. All fans who have not pre-booked parking should not drive.
The Rabbitohs will take on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the annual Good Friday blockbuster at ANZ Stadium this Friday at 4pm. Click here to purchase your tickets.

I think everyone needs to stop pissing their pants in regards to Sam Burgess. Yes he is a fantastic player but Souths have won games without him in the past and they will continue to win games without him in the future. A team must be bigger than one player in order to be genuine title contenders. While we are missing a significant number of players, I think the Bulldogs are more than beatable.

Parramatta provided us with a template last Friday night on how to dismantle the Bulldogs - you get up in their faces, maintain quick line speed for 80 minutes and force them into throwing the football around. We basically need to take of their forwards and beat them at their own game. In saying that, we need to hang onto the football at all costs; the Bulldogs are the one team that can win games if the match becomes a scrappy affair. This is the sort of game that is going to be won and lost in the last 15-20 minutes. The Bulldogs are a team that likes being in front and controlling the game due to their workman-like style; they don't like playing catch up football simply because they aren't a good point scoring team. If we can do what Parramatta did and carry a 6-8 point into the last 15-20 minutes, then I think we can get home. From what I saw over the last two weeks, the Bulldogs attack looks pretty insipid; they didn't throw too much at either the Panthers or Parramatta.

I'm also praying for a dry track because we are not a good wet weather football team and a wet field will turn the game into a war of attrition - the type of game the dogs like. Its quiet unbelievable that they excel in those sorts of games given that they have big, cumbersome forwards; anyone would be forgiven for thinking that they would get bogged down as well but they never seem to. There is something about those attritional games that brings the best out in those dogs players. I really hope Madge has been drilling into the boys to keep things simple in the wet and to hold onto the footy at all costs. However, if it is dry then I can see us running those big dogs players around. After seeing them over the last two weeks, I believe Canterbury's forwards are still carrying too much weight and lack mobility. This is where dummy half running is key - Damian Cook and McInnes are going to need to make constant scoots from dummy half to get the likes of Klemmer, Kasiano, Eastwood and co all constantly retreating.

All is not lost, but for god sake pray that it doesn't rain on Friday!!

Does anyone else think that Madge could be playing mind games with Des Hasler and the Bulldogs by not naming Sam initially but then including him on game day?

I would not rule it out.Although on the flipside Hasler would be training his squad expecting Sam to play.
