He also misrepresents or misreads data in order to force it in to his rather narrow worldview, rather than letting facts or logic speak for itself.

I don’t have to agree with everyone and you and I have had disagreements but generally you’re respectful to other posters and don’t misrepresent data.

Again with the exaggerations. No one has said perth will be the savior of the NRL, or that the NRL even needs saving!

What is being said by most is that if the game wants to expand beyond its traditional heartlands then Perth is the obvious choice as club 18. It is a large wealthy city with a very supportive Govt, proven interest in rugby league, interested backers, gives a good tv time slot and adds to the tv metro reach which has proven to be valuable in tv negotiations.

Beyond that the rest is just fantasy made up by you and Pippen.

Nope, all quiet on the Bears front! They haven't released anything since the comedian announcement and nothing coming from the West about them at moment.
With WA Govt currently doing its due diligence on who it will back we may hear something in next couple of months, or it may stay quiet until the rumblings that club 18 is being looked at by NRL surface again.

No fkn way... St.george would have had another 11 year/string of premierships, had they not looked at splitting the talent in the area...what kind of competition do you want to have if the same f**kers are alwats winning..... today both '67 clubs rank the highest in participation and are currently the leading 2 Sydney clubs on the previous seasons ladder... that doesn't happen overnight, it would have taken atleast a decade of growth to get to this point, other clubs should be taking notes on what they are both doing with their local catchment and engagement to their fans/members/public to have these numbers... god knows roosters would love to have numbers like that.. even storm too, but its understandable storm are in a/(THE) heavily AFL centric city..

Its another reason Redcliffe had won its bid, as they could potentially be a similar set up brand as Penrith or Cronulla

Ok it took 67 years to be a semi decent rugby league team after news ltd pumped tens of millions into them, the nswrl bailed them out a few times and they sold their development land for a fraction of its worth lol
