When the two apparent replacements aren't even playing fullback it makes it extremely difficult. If we are worried about the defensive aspect of our fullbacks game then their is clearly something wrong defensively across the park.....

Reddy has played all but a handful of games at fullback. That argument does not wash re: Reddy. Maybe Hayne, but not Reddy.

Has his form warranted his selection? From what I've seen he has been extremely quiet so far and has hardly stood out compared to last year. Last year his form suggested he should have been given more than the games he got. So far this year he hasn't repeated that.

To be honest I have only seen him play one game this year and that was against the Dogs. He played well in that game, but then again I would have starred in that one.

Then why direct it at my comment?

I think he is 1000 times a better player than Carriage. Mick Vella when through a period a couple of years back when he kept doing bizarre things on the field as well and so I think Wade can turn it around but in my opinion he isn't in good form at the moment.

You're assuming that a win means that your whole team is playing well. The win against the Tigers may have been a bad thing because everyone thought we were back on track.

No the comment that was made was that you're only as good as your last game. We had won win, a draw and three losses in the lower grades. I was being facetious as was ParraAds..... ;-)

sorry to start an arguement and then not reply.

normally I'm wades biggest fan and defended him last year when everyone wanted reddy to keep his spot.

however wade makes crucial mistakes in almost every game(this year) that lead to tries last week was it for me i get nervous everytime he has the ball he's either gonna make a break, drop the ball,get taken into touch or play it to no one Joel Reddy is the man for the job

our kick returns are a joke we are getting a bad platform every set of six and people wonder why our forwards make no metres mckinnon takes the kick he drops it/runs out/crabs across field and takes the tackle
next play perterson dummy half run sideways no meteres gained then our forwards have to make a hit up with the defence keen and eager to smash them

where on the other side grothe and tahu make yards like you wouldn't belive and get good roll on

imo 1 reddy 2 burt 5 grothe should be our back 3

I think that is more a reflection on how the team is playing as a whole, rather than Wades form individually.
I don't think one player (maybe Tahu excepted) who could put their hand up and say they are playing to their potetial this season.

I say give him a break.
He'll come good, when the team does.

well suity i've been thinking that for weeks now and he hasn't come good it's not that i'm out to get wade he"s one of my favourite players

oh well he's in again this week hope he makes better descisions

possably, which is basicaly the reason why we must persist with McKinnon.

I think they've finally realised he isn't a centre and there are better wingers ahead of him. Injury tends to necessitate he is picked at the present time. If O'Dwyer doesn't play first grade Reddy could well find hjimself back at fullback ;-)
