Sorry. Came off a bit strong.

And also - he-she is entitled to their opinion.

I just don't see where it's coming from - true, he has made some major blunders. But they've hardly cost us any more than our soft forwards not putting in. And he has also made up for it with some brilliant football.

Haha!

the mods have been bugging me to calm down a bit with my thoughts so I guess I'm trying to keep it a little more settled.

McKinnon is solid, I think some people think I want to drop him because of how he has played this year. That is not the case, I'm just saying that if I was in charge I wouldnt have had him in the side to start with.

I'm not worried about the stats Eelementary, I know he busts a lot of tackles, my post actually emphasised this point, this is because he has a good fend and a natural 'bumping' running style, but if you really think he has more spark in attack overall (eg, line breaks, line break assists, try assists, etc) than Brett Hodgson, then well, we're just going to have to agree to disagree.

I'd like to see him bust more tackles in our attacking zone of the field, because I get the impression most of it is done at the other end of the field from kick returns.

In Wade's defence, BS doesn't use him close to the line too much......we are too structured to have anyone come in and try something off the top of their head.

If Wade does go to the Warriors as has been rumoured, i would be interested to see how they would use him in attack as i think he could add alot to our attack if we would just use him.......

That is my opnion anyway

 One bad game and he's gone? He's been one of our best for most of the season....

Colonel when it come to Wade you have rose coloured glasses. He has been very ordinary in atleast 4-5 games this season.

Clearly my glasses are rose coloured. Must be like the blinkers you wear when you watch Burt.

You can't do 1 good thing in a game and be happy with that. His defence from the back is nowhere near as good as it needs to be and has been in the past.

Only the opinions of some fans that see Wade in a good light. Also, why bring Luke Burt into this? I can admit he has played badly in some games. But Wade is starting to stray into Paul Carriage brain explosion territory with his form this season.

The only thing that is clear this week is that McKinnon is this weeks scapegoat.

I don't think that he is a scapegoat, some fans are just getting a little upset at his form. I think if you look at weeks before some have been calling for Wade's for some time.

I'm happy for him to stay in the side but he needs to work on his defence at the back.

Yet a lot of commentators and media writers predict rep selection based on his form so far this season.....

Every loss Parramatta fans need a scapegoat. This week just happens to be Wade.

Believe it or not Colonel, but the fans on this forum arent the only Parramatta supporters that exist.

I know plenty myself who think that Wade is a decent player, but think he is very much a risk when it comes to crucial matches or situations during a game.

I don't blame the loss on Wade. I blame the loss on when we had Manly bunched coming off their own line and we responded with 5 dummy half runs, playing into their hands. If we had spread the ball alittle I think we would have found some gaps.

These same people predict rep selection for how many players? And when have these people been considered the best judges of form. I think you will find that they haven't seen many matches and so have little comparision.

If you realise that my opinion doesn't matter then you too show know that whatever you say has no bearing either. This board is for discussion, not for agreement with only your point of view.

I'm very much aware that others exist.

Never said it didn't matter and I'm not asking anyone to agree with my point of view - I'm also aware it doesn't matter. Spend long enough on this board and you'll find a lot who think theirs does though. I just find it very hypocritical when one minute the guy is being praised and the next he is being compared with Paul Carige.

On current form I think Wade needs a week in Premier League to reassess his form but I don't think their is an adequate replacement to play fullback in first grade (even though I did post a team with Joel Reddy there).

When the two apparent replacements aren't even playing fullback it makes it extremely difficult. If we are worried about the defensive aspect of our fullbacks game then their is clearly something wrong defensively across the park.....
