Speaking of Broncos. I learned the other day that a few years ago we had Payne Haas on our books. I kid you the F not.

Yep, while he was a schoolkid on the Gold Coast.

Had a bidding war a few years back and we lost him.

That said, could have had funeral on the Thursday, but could get to Sydney and play Saturday. Things are plausible, like it could be shenanigans, poor communication.

Who knows, not the fans, above your pay grade.

Speaking of the communication black hole that is your team, signing the current kiwi half?

You do have Journalists over there yeah?

I mean if the name was Dan Carter, people would be in tents outside Brian Smiths house.

I think ole Bennett would love to be warriors coach, out of mind, out of sight.

Ninee is reporting Kodi stood down at the Broncos quoting Seibold saying to ponder his future.

Kodi will be yours.

500k for a 85 game NRL half, and current Kiwi Halfback?

Seriously happy with that. He won't make our team any worse, and gives us depth so we're not relying solely on a rookie.

I think that if we had an established half outside of CHT the last 3 weeks, we win at least two of those games

Rumour is we are offering Nikorima around $500K per season. That's double what the Broncos pay him, but still feels like not bad value compared to SJ.

I'm OK with this deal at that price. But not if it goes much higher.

$500k is a win for player and club.
For a international half that is cheap. And there is no way he is half the player SJ is.
We lack attacking threat and that addresses that. Kodi linking with RTS is mouthwatering imo.

Still leaves Blake money to go for Dylan Brown or upgrade Channel after 2020.

surprised the donkeys only had him on $250k tbh.....

Lol yeah I wonder how many brown paper bags he has given up for the move

On a more serious note, this looks like being a sure bet now, who will be the player heading back to reserve grade and feeling a bit stunted, Roache or CHT ? You’d think CHT, seems like another Hingano situation looming

How did that work out for Hingano again? CHT as number one back up (likely to get more game time this season), and destined replacement for Green at 7, he would struggle to find a better deal elsewhere. He has been of NRL standard (his kicking has been below par for a halfback however), which is awesome for a young dude. But he can't be relied on as a first choice half yet. Hayze, I'm not sure about. They seem to be talking about him as a half, but I always thought he be a dynamic Centre or fullback. Be interesting to see what happens.

I thought Sezer would be a decent option myself also, but isn't really a future move, and hasn't been good at the Raiders, really.

Niko would be a good fit for us IMO, but only at 6, next to a half that can kick. Green's kicking game isn't the best, but is solid enough. He also has been stuck next to a very similar player to himself, Milford, in the halves at Brisbane. Both are attacking support players in the halves. He also can potentially fill in for Luke next year if he doesn't get re signed, if the coaching staff go down that road. Apparently between 500-600k per season, seems reasonable considering his talent, age and Warriors overs factor (20%?)
