I'd be completely for a 2nd NZ team and this is coming from a proud NZ hater.
But it just seems like their bid isn't as serious as the Bears/Pirates/Bombers. Hopefully they'll be ready for when we expand to 20 teams.
Crowe is a kiwi when it makes him look good and Australian when in Australia.Souths could relocate to the South Island. Still be Souths. Crowe is a kiwi anyway.
Tugger does...Crowe is a kiwi when it makes him look good and Australian when in Australia.
He supports the All Blacks and the Australian cricket team...
I wish he would just claim Australian 100%.
Last thing we need is yet another regional team.
Bears, Perth, Brisbane2, NZ2 over the next 10 years in whatever order.
If I was the dictator of rugby league I'd announce the following today:
2015- Bears
2016- Perth
2020- Brisbane2
2021- NZ2
The end.
Because it would make more people watch the footy. I grew up in Mosman. When I visit my parents I get a feel for what the area is like. The popularity of NRL in the northern suburbs is below where it was 15 years ago. Eyeballs in Gosford and North Sydney are as valuable as eyeballs anywhere else.Well thank f**k you're not even remotely persuasive with the ARLC. WTF do we need another team between Wollongong and Newcastle?

I mean a proper out in the sticks regional team like NQLD. WHich is pretty much what Central Queensland would be.Lol,
Are you sure he supports the punk-ass Australian Cricket team? I remember him saying in an interview he supports NZ cos of his cousins Martin & Jeff Crowe.

Central Queensland is my 3rd choice team among just the Queensland bids. Ipswich and the Bombers are far better places for a team.
Gosford is a stones throw from Sydney and Newcastle.
