Got the job done comfortably without really getting out of third gear. Felt like we were a little flat after a massive effort last week but thankfully it was against the knights and we didn’t slip up on it.

Was the most dull nrl game on the park I’ve ever attended, but the lad loved it and that was the main thing, far too much up the wahs coming out of his mouth now though :p
Dull as in an arm wrestle?

9 line breaks by Warriors, 3 by Knights.

9 Errors by Warriors, 15 by Knights.

13 offloads by Warriors, 10 by Knights.

I felt we had more structure in attack than previous games, competed for the kicks, had more players backing up in support.

But I can't compare to your other games you have attended.
And a Mexican wave did go up with 15-20mins to go, which normally means a crowd that is bored.
Big sing along to Hey Baby as well.

Just attack wise, live both teams but especially Newcastle seemed to have very little. 12 line breaks surprises me as it felt like most stuff came from kicks, or off errors, the best attacking movement overall Gagai putting Schiller away. And everyone knew that as soon as the Warriors got 12 points on the board Newcastle were over and out

I wouldn’t say the crowd were overly bored, although you’re right that’s what a Mexican wave signifies normally. Probably just because everyone knew that the Knights were no hope. Halftime and post match the crowd was whipped into an absolute frenzy

Had a decent view of the Sky talking heads doing their pre/halftime stuff out on the field as well, Laura dancing to Savage went down well …
