It appears Souths are also going for Steven Bell.

Looks like we'll have to pay overs for his services.

Storm centre Steve Bell, voted the games most under-rated player by his peers, has agreed to play with SOUTHS next season.

Bell could be joined by fellow storm player Matt Orford as souths continue to build for season 2006.

Several Clubs, including Wests Tigers and the CRONULLA were keen to sign Bell but sources have told RLW that the classy centre decided to join the Rabitoh revival agreeing to a rich 2 year deal 10 days before the june 30th anit tampering deadline.

hey black tip, i had to have a chuckle at your comments regarding real estate agents( i am one buy the way) i think that your mate contacted me the other week and put a low offer in on a place in cronulla and i did exactly what you said every other real estate agent does tries to get more money( by the way that is our job) and he did exactly what you said, told me to " f**k off " the funny thing is that he called me on another place i had for sale i had great pleasure telling to f**k off and i know he really wanted that particular place because i have now had abot 6 calls trying to get this place. moral of the story dont bite the hand that feeds you

My dad was a Estate agent for 15yrs, he didn't lie to anyone to sell a house. To BTR if you don't like real estate agents don't use them!

If its a question of lifestyle , how come so many players , ex players and officals live in the Shire? We know how good it is . The club has to become hard about winning and bringing through juniors. But a previous post mentioned that we dont know how to buy in players . BUt look how well Noddy, Bailiey and Sullivan have been for us, all bought to the club by Anderson.

We also bought big names in Vagana and Stevens, Also we have attracted big name coaches such as Beetson, Gibson and Anderson. We have plenty of capacity to draw big names.

You have to go back to '96 for Stevo and he was a no name when we got him. To keep him we always payed overs especially during SL. We paid overs for Vagana. Kimmorley came for the coach not the club.

The big name coaches have done us a lot of good too haven't they?

So between 96 when Stevo came and 03 when Vagana came tell me all the big name player signings.

Use both hands if you have to, I don't think you will need them though.

Between 96 and 03 we made the semis almost every year, so the club were happy with our players eg Dykes,Campbell,Beattie,McKenna,Mellor,Johns,Graham,Triester,Peachey,ET, Rogers. there is a few decent players there!
