I have been listening to Sat 2MMM for 30 mins.

Summary is how good are Penrith, which is warranted.

Eels. Whilst they spoke about Moses and his chances of playing next week, nobody has spoken of the impact of him going off. Zip. To be fare, the narrative is being steered by Ryan Girdler.

In contrast, I listened to the Sunday program live and James Graham and Gordon Tallis both said we were balls deep until Mitch went off.

Triple M has lost its luster imo.

I use to listen every week now i only grab the bits out of podcasts i want to listen to.

Not a fan of that flog Dobbo hosting on Sunday's he seems like he has tickets on himself.

Yep, our performance was a lot better then most have given credit for….and yeah the errors got us in the end, but we were defensively very good.

all good, no one will talk about us this week, it will be all Canberra, how great they are, how good their win was…..we can sit back under the radar….

Let’s hope Moses plays and it will be a perfect preparation week for us…

Not sure what podcast I was listening to, but someone said that the Eels looked like a team who were trying not to lose, rather than a team who were trying to win.

That's what happens when you haven't won a comp for 30+ years and bowed out early in the semis 4/5 years. Meanwhile there are teams who have nothing to lose and nothing to prove. "Focus merkins, it's just another game" is easy to say, but hard to execute when you have all that weight on your shoulders.

We will have shit piled on us all week about how we're chokers and whether Brad Arthur can get us passed this week.

Fittler at half time was blowing his load over Cleary. Even mentioned Mitch's attempted 40/20 as Clearys. Clearys bombs were directed towards Sivo until we pressured him and he miss kicked high and short to Waqa. Then all of a sudden hes a genius. Gee I hope we get another shot at those smug fuc*ers. I reckon Mitch was ahead on points at half time.

Good so why did you take issue with that in the first place a few days ago then...?
First statement that you disagreed with:
But every player misses tackles. Some lead to tries. The player who missed the tackle doesn’t get to choose what happens after it. That’s up to the other 33 players.
Later statement that you agreed with:
Exactly. Every player misses tackles. If they lead to tries or line breaks that doesn't make them any more of a missed tackle than one that is cleaned up by team mates.
I'm actually now questioning whether you are Bartman, because Bartman was never that stupid.

Missing a tackle is the fault of the player who missed the tackle. To only way to make sure a missed tackle doesn't result in a try is for the player not to miss the tackle.
This was the original dumb statement that started the whole dumb conversation.

Every game consists of missed tackles. Stupid in the extreme to suggest it shouldn't occur when it's inevitable.

No, PouPou's "conversation" about the effects of Arthur's missed tackle being the fault of other players started well before that... keep scrolling back to the statements Poupou's post disgareed with - even Poupou has forgotten why he tried to present his as some kind of amazing revelation.
