I posted in the Game Day thread in the main forum that I rate us a better chance of beating the Panfers in a prelim than beating Souffs thus weekend, if that makes sense. I just think we'll struggle to stop them scoring points this week and I don't know how many we've got in us. If we win, it'll have to be a low scoring toil-fest... If Souths win it'll be by 24+

We can win, but it's a less than 50% chance. Just like the Storm game.

I think we will win tbh.

Just my opinion. Souths will make a lot of errors and our forwards will dominate them in the middle.

When we played a few weeks back we where making excellent meters and just played silly and too many errors then gave up.
And Latrel had a blinder. He is not there. I'd also say we where at our worse form of the season.
I feel Sivo being out is a plus. Souths would of had a field day going at the big steam boat. George reads defense better and is faster.
No Fergo will hurt a little but Taka is a very good back up and it isnt like Fergo has been in great form.

Dylan will also be better for the run. And Moses is getting back into some sort of form atleast.

Also the 4 games leading up to the last encounter we had 4 tough games. 3 of those in the wet and 3 decided by 2 points.
Souths had 1 tough win against cowboys and 3 comfortable wins where could take foot of gas with 20+ mins to go.

Our last 4 games have been a full 80 mins but we are used to it. Had it all season.
4/5 of Souths last 5 games have been far tougher games leading up this time around. A run away against the Roosters the only real easy game.

Add the fact we have an extra days rest and didn't play on a hot day.

I think we are a great shot.

We won’t win. They’ve been in good form racking up big scores. And only weeks ago they thrashed us. Can’t see us sorting out our defensive issues this week.

I think we will win. I watched the Storm game again and was pretty impressed. We made ground easilly and were totally stuffed by how the injurys effected our rotation. Nrown and Matterson were slow getting into defensive position on a few of the Storm trys. Matto is often slow off the ground as well but its probably because of all the work he does. Staying healthy and clever use of our interchange is vital. Fingers crossed we get it right.

I think we’ll win and by 2-3 tries.

souths defence isn’t good, and hasn’t been tested, they also haven’t put 3 consistent games together all year.

3 weeks ago they were comprehensively outplayed by the bulldogs.

we don’t lose our wingers and screw our bench rotations and team dynamic and I think we beat Melbourne last week.

Melbourne are a tougher side than the rabbits, and we matched them for 90% of that contest.
