You don't like the games in Mudgee etc?

I think it is great getting the game out there

Depends on who the club is I guess, what they are targeting and who they are playing.

It makes sense for your club for instance to target areas in western NSW as that is where part of your growth will be. Maybe even my club with a place in southern NSW or Riverina as that could be a growth area for us. Knights could look at maybe a game in Tamworth etc.

You would only do one game I reckon against a side that you are not going to get a big crowd against anyway.

Again you offer a great example of why they are such a bad choice for Brisbane2! People thinking they shouldn't be playing in Brisbane at all and that they would be better off playing at a far flung suburban ground tells you a lot about how flawed a choice they are as a genuine Brisbane2 club.
should never have wiped out the crushers. f**k News Ltd.

Yes, some obvious troll account on LU is a good indication of how the general public thinks about the Dolphins.

Some serious confirmation bias happening in this thread.

Commercial realities will mean the overwhelming majority of their games will be at Suncorp. Don't forget, the reason why up to four games are getting moved from Suncorp next year is because of the FIFA women's world cup and the unavailability of the stadium during the middle of the season. A position the Broncos will also find themselves in.
They are taking 5 games away from Suncorp in year one. I’m sure if they were committed to Suncorp the nrl could have scheduled accordingly.

Don’t kid yourself the only reason clubs are taking games to small country towns is due to the councils/stadium owners paying money. And why do they have to sell games? Because they arent earning enough money in their home games. I can guarantee if clubs were avg‘ing more than 20k fans and selling 50 corp boxes they wouldnt be taking games to mudgee!

How do you grow the game if you stay in the same areas?

Same way other sports do. You don't need to take season games to small areas in unfit stadia. You don't see that in any other major sport in the world. Mainly because it makes no financial sense when you are being successful at selling seats and boxes at your home stadium. The fact Sydney NRL clubs do it is due to the failures in their own patch, not some altruistic action to grow the game. If Penrith get a new stadium and start to earn $1million plus a game at it you can bet your bottom dollar that they will not be playing in Bathurst any longer.

There's not much you can do about the stadium being unavailable
It wont be available for 9 rounds. I'd imagine with some creative scheduling and the byes the Broncos could get away with moving 2-3 home games max.
Interestingly they just launched their 2023 memberships with no mention of stadiums where they would be playing.

Which is what they are trying to be. Atleast a 80/20 split anyway

They shouldn’t be though. They are supposed to be a second Brisbane side. A city of over 2 million which should be enough people for at least 2 teams

I know that you’re 99% true but MLB have got a Little League thing going on now. I’ll preface that by saying that they play a million games over there
