Exactly my point lol I’m sure his salary is tied to cap increases over next 4 years as well. He won’t be leaving the game a pauper!Just going off the news.... besides whos to say dolphins were really offering 5.6m
The dolphins inability to get players weighs heavily against expansion
if they struggle imagine how many years a Perth team would need to build a squad and how much extra they would need to pay to attract players
and that’s with one of the greatest ever coaches in charge

This one is a little better saying they should’ve been given help by the arlc but the other clubs would never allow it (don’t agree they needed it)
they needed another year to chase players but covid delayed their entry

I’m not too fussed about next year but still 2 years is the ideal minimum needed for a new clubI don't know if another year helps, The kids will get them results
That’s on covid vlandys plan was to announce expansion way earlier then the second covid outbreak and moving the comp to Brisbane put it on hold for six monthsYou simply plan it better. They were given a year (pretty much) to construct a squad. If you gave them an extra year and the ability to recruit from the time they were announced until they entered they would have been able to recruit the necessary players

Titans had that long and their starting roster was excellentWho is going to sign that far out though
If manly appoint seibold except a slew of player to want exits including dce
the dolphins are the only club with a lot of cap space

yep, Titans had marquees when they came in, didn't do them much good after the first few seasons....they'll be fine - they just need to get on the park and show results - that will convince higher profile players to join.
Then fell away, Those young guys don't go if they can't play FG next year though.
