Wagu cheeseburger and onion rings for lunch at Vic Meats at the fish markets today and going to have school prawns, Balmain bugs and leatherjacket for dinner, not sure how i'm going to do the bugs and prawns yet and also the fish.

KFC 3 piece feed. Visited my mother in the nursing home at Randwick today, could not be bothered with a cafe lunch afterwards today so ended up having KFC there. To my surprise the three pieces i got had meat on them, a thigh piece, a rib piece with plenty of meat and a breast piece which was all meat, it was great not getting a scabby drumstick or tiny wing, also chips were hot, a total surprise for KFC.

Iv'e seen something similar in the fresh fridge section of Coles to and thought about trying it sometime. I have a KFC probably not much more than 100 mtrs from where i live but rarely frequent it, today when i was at Randwick i thought about just grabbing a sandwich or wrap from a cafe but thought stuff it i just feel like KFC, it was pretty decent for once, a lot better than my local one.

Similar texture, spices are quite good ( not exact) and you can do a good long Vietnamese French bun, lettuce and Mayo.

A slither of butter for taste as it’s not too oily.

And there’s this tender grill point thing when young mate rips it off the burner and it’s perfect.

You want to time your purchase to that second.

With humous and mixed salad.

I gave these a go about a month ago. Chucked the pieces in the air fryer and was pleasantly surprised. I'd rate it above KFC. If it came with a few little tubs of potato and gravy in the bag I'd be hooked.
