I can't listen to those albums anymore, I would probably find them okay if they didn't use the Misfits name.
The damage that Jerry Only has done to the Misfits name over the past 15 years is a crime, Glenn Danzig wrote everything that put the Misfits on the map ('77-'83).
The situation is worse than what it would have been like if Nirvana continued without Kurt. I would have no problem with Jerry continuing the band if Danzig was just the singer and Jerry was the songwriter but Glenn wrote everything and Jerry wrote nothing (evidence of his lack of songwriting ability is the fact that there have been no new songs since the '95 Misfits (including his brother) abandoned him).
Jerry Only has turned the Misfits into a hollow money making machine, now it's more about the merchandise than the music.
That rant probably wasn't appropriate for this thread and hey, if you like the songs, nothing else matters, I just had to get that off my chest.
