Our home games v Dogs (weekend of May 4th) and Bunnies (weekend of June 15th) will be at Homebush, same as last year

it was bought on the club credit card,

You should see his home theatre set up in his new house. ;-)

I think the disclaimer should be at the start of your post, that way people with no sense of humour don't have to read your entire post only to be told the shouldn't read your post.

That disclaimer should be at the top of every thread in the forum tbh, if it would help certain people be less sensitive about any post/thread that is slightly critical of the club admin/board....

It's not a cop out Gronk.

Ozzie has been meeting with them to get a few things upgraded like the Gym, etc

They ripped out the Boxing ring in the gym to make way for some new machines.

They simply dont want to spend that kind of money on a screen when the stadium is only occupied for 10 games

I do declare, I am quite sure I said that back in 2001, and while people will complain, it is also the reason for the Parramatta Power (meaning the events days would have gone up to 27 or so back then).

A permanent screen costs something in the order of 6 million dollars (or it did in 2001) and lasts a total of 5 years if left unprotected.

Having said that the video screen on the north end is a requirement to hold and NRL game. I know that companies like Screenco and Bytecraft hire them out and could easily erect on on the Southern Hill as well.

But hey, it is a great little political football to kick around.

I believe the current portable screen is hired by the NRL and the football club and not by the trust.

MITS has stated in the past that we are responsible for the advertising, so we may have control over the signs on the north hill.

Hopefully MITS can clarify both.

Part of our contract with the Stadium is that we have the rights to sell the advertising yes.

Yes on the part of the Screen as well.

Having said that, we don't have to pay for a thing at ANZ Stadium and get paid to play there.

Full strength beer is available in the members bar on level 4.

Wasn't the popular rumor that, the Screen from the company in India was the one used for the First game for 2010 or 2011. On game day the Chairman saw it in action and said to the CEO to send in back and get a refund because it was "CRAP" or words to that effect.

Dont worry about paying $6m for a big screen. We could instal a small tv in front of all 20,000 seats for less than this. C'mon Stadium Trust pull your finger out!

We should get Foxtel on each one as well, that way when we're losing we can change the channel.

Great idea ! Would be also great innovation at the cricket too. You could watch a whole movie and not miss anything particularly important at times.
