Jade Empire, KotOR, etc.
Memories of the past unfortuneately.
We still get the Mass Effect series and Dragon Age: Origins, but the hordes of DLC, pre-order content that everyone has on the disc, unique online passes for content on the disc, and Dragon Age 2 whilst still decent was a shadow of previous Bioware games.
I am hoping TOR would buck the recent trend, the trailers and hype for it have been immense, and it's array of features looks really good.
They can't possibly screw up Mass Effect 3 surely, though the multiplayer aspect annoys me. Thankfully the multiplayer isn't required for a complete single-player experience, although it certainly helps.
There had better be a wide range of fitting endings, and I hope each member of the cast gets their due send-offs, such as all the previous and new party members, important NPCs, the Rachni, Krogan, etc.
It will be very interesting to see how they incorporate all the decisions from the previous games and just how largely they affect the experience, the good thing with it being the finale is that they can bridge off in any way they want, unlike ME2 which was the bridging title.
I expect it wall fall under heavy pre-release scrutiny by unconvinced fans who don't believe they can properly conclude everyone's "Shepard", knowing Bioware though it will be the game of the year.
