I once one $2500 worth of fuel - when I didn't have a license or a car. It was 25 of these $100 BP card thingies, so i sold them to my friends for $90 or I'd use them to buy bread and milk and stuff because I was a poor student and the BP near us was like a shop, hehehehe it was cool

Hey pink sharkie - I've won a sculling competition too. Me against three cowboys when I was up north, but all I won was more drinks and lots and lots of praise, hehehehe

I thought I had two pretty big wins when the kids were born healthy.

Once I had enough frequent flyer points to get a night at the Gazebo in Kings Cross so me and the GF(now wife) got tickets to the Beauty and the beast and made a big night of it. Next morn we had to be out at 10(v v hard) so we checked out and I suggested we get some coffee and have a game of pool at the Aussie rules club next door(leave the car at the Gazebo) and hopefully we will sober up enough to drive back to the Nulla.
Well after an hour and many cups and games we were heading out and she says "I'm going to put $20 through the bandits". Right oh I'll match that.
10mins later-10mins! she has won 3000. I'm thinking yeeeeehaaa then I go nuts on my machine 2500. I grab her and we RUN outside with a cool 5500.
No way are we going home .
Sat night was spent in a suite at Rydges on Darling Harbour with dinner at a Rocks waterside seafood place and we still came home with 4000+.

I won 2500+ with a mystery trifecta on the Coolmore Classic the year Camino Rose won at $17 which was pretty sweet.

went home straight away hid it bar 400 went back to the "old" Northies and got many people pissed that day :D

Speaking of horses- I part owned a horse once which won twice.
A dream come true.
Its record 29 starts 2 win 5second 1third, all in the country.
At the end I could have beaten it up the straight moonwalking!

I won a Vikings jacket.

I want to be like everyone else here though and win something REALLY big. Even the TV I won was just a tiny 20 inch one. Wasn't even a good brand (Phillips Magnovox).

The worst thing I ever won was a $5 gift certificate to White Castle. Something you'd have to live in the northern part of the US to fully appreciate -- or unappreciate. They make Maccas look like first class cuisine.
