What if Jarryd Hayne doesn't make the 49ers cut? Will he return to the NRL?

Hayne had a good little run that put him just short of a touchdown. The SF 49ers lost to the fancied NY Giants by 3 points after leading with four minutes to go.

I am convinced that God is preserving the boy from Minto for bigger things in the future.

Jarryd Hayne took his first punt from Baltimore today., and he took it cleanly. He then started to beat several opponents from a swarm of defenders. But he had the ball knocked from his hands, called a fumble, which was fortunately recovered by another 49ers player.

Jarryd was put back on for another punt which was left to fall. Later he was brought on as running back but did not get the ball.

It might look good to be stepping players but his attention to detail when carrying the ball should've improved by now. He was so lucky the 49ers recovered his fumble.

They won't pass it to him when his at RB...

I don't think his got much support by his team mates

Hyde gets 2 runs minimum every time his there

Its not really suprising the 3rd string guy isn't getting as many runs as the first string guy.

They are playing a rookie RB over Hayne now. He'd wana hope to his Jesus that he doesn't drop another punt or else bon voyage NFL career.

Yeh that's a bit dissapointing. Rarely dropped the pill in the NRL - maybe too focussed on running than catching / holding?

So much for all the media reports leading up to the game saying Hayne would have a lot of snaps, hardly on the field and when he was he was completely ignored..

Jarryd didn't get many touches because in the 2nd half Baltimore stopped kicking to him. Also when he was brought on as running back, a planned move to him didn't materialise because Colin Kaepernick dithered and got nailed by Baltimore.
