All I know about IJ & Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is that there are monkeys, aliens & a fridge and that it raped everyone's childhoods (well children of the 80s childhoods, such as myself).
Having resisted watching for this long, I'm curious about how bad it really is, and wonder if I'll actually enjoy it to a degree with the hindsight of unpopular opinions keeping my defenses up in terms of childhood memory pillaging and whatnot.
Oh yes! Made the same mistake and was throwing f-bombs galore after it having been a huge fan of the original
Looking back now, there are some great action scenes and interesting ideas thrown up.
But the presentation of it was a gobbled up mess with too many loose pointless side characters and threads. Could have been good, what a shame.
Revolutions was even worse, saw that at the movies too (sigh)
Oh, and the monkey scene was pretty damn stupid.
The aliens and the fridge I have no problem with.
I don't know how they managed to make the same movie 3 times in a row and shamelessly pretend they aren't.
Mine would be Mission to Mars.
Upon the declining quality of movies recently, a repeated viewing now shows it wasn't that bad but at the time I hated it.
