Then again if JFK did not die we would never have had movies like Rambo, Platoon and Hamburger Hill would we. LOl...

How do you mean? JFK was the first President to send troops to Vietnam, while they were camoflagued at the beginning as administrative and service support to the South Vietnamese military, they were involved early in the Kennedy administration. Due to anti-communist pressure within the US at the time, particularly after the threat of a nuclear war with Kruschev, he had little to no other choice but to use Vietnam as a tool to show people that US would not tolerate the growth of communism at the expense of democacy.

Has anyone seen 13 days about the cuba missile crisis, and the old movie about JFK when he was a PT boat captain ( think it was called PT 109 ). Top true stories !!! He sure was in amongst it the old JFK...One of the most historically devastating murders in several hundred years I believe his death.

Yeah, the Bay of Pigs was a massive fiasco. He was basically peddling information from advisors that was false; if they created tension in Cuba those who opposed Fidel Castro would rise above and turn against him. When in reality, Castro had massive support in Cuba and they never really cleared the beach heads. The only way to safety was up a valley into the mountains which Castro's boys had covered.
