day the earth stood still - worst acting of all time. really really bad

terminator 4 - someone said earlier on that it added little/nothing to the series. i have to agree. sure there were some good action scenes and it focused more on the humans v machines fighting, but what really changed from the start of the movie to the end? the humans were still battling machines etc....without ruining it i dont see how it changed apart from a lame attempt to insert a new angle into it. i think they are running out of ideas

Its a trilogy, they are surely setting up for something.

I cant believe the apathy for the hangover! I really enjoyed it, funniest movie I have seen in ages. The past two movies I have seen have been awesome, the hangover and T4. Hopefully Transformers 2 lives up to expectations and makes it a hatrick.

That's all well and good, but "Salvation" was part four...

Yes, part 4 in the franchise, but part 1 of a new trilogy set in a much different time period and with a different story structure (moving away from bad guy chasing good guy+protector). The way I see it the first three were setting up for this film, and the events of that will lead on to the final 2 films.

The Hangover - fantastic. Another great comedy which was original; defying boring cliches and pedictable plot lines. The comedy genre is in abit of a golden era atm.

That's all good. I still say "Salvation" reeked.
