Beaneath Hill 60 - Probably one of the most honest war films I've seen since We Were Soldiers.
You get to see that a lot of the soldiers in battle were sh*tscared, they were people, not some robot warriors devoid of emotion.
And they had normal lives back home, before, during and after the war.
The constant cut backs to Woodwards pre-war life I felt were done poorly.
They were mostly relevant, but I can't see why they didn't just stick with the movie in a timeline type storytelling. Instead of back and forth the whole time.
Last night I saw I Love You Too - a typical Romance Comedy with all the usual cliches.
Chicks will love it, blokes will find it mildly amusing, good movie to take a new GF to though, might even get a grope. It's an Aussie movie starring Peter Helliar and the guy who played Woodward in Beneath Hill 60.
Ok so everyone's saying Iron Man 2 and Beneath Hill 60 are good movies. So what about How to Train Your Dragon?
brilliant. I downloaded a crappy copy of the film and yet i enjoyed it immensely... i can only imagine the film would be 10 times better on the big screen (if its still screening)
Oh, and Boondock Saints II: All Saints day. Doesn't hold a candle to the original but was still pretty entertaining cos it was not so much about the brothers as it was Il Duce. Out of repect for the people who haven't seen it I wont give any more away and for those that haven't seen the first one do yourself a favor and see it.... then see the sequel.
I think I preferred the sequel.
IRON MAN 2 excellent
Toy story 1 and 2. Inspirational story of the seedy underworld of kids toys.
