Beaneath Hill 60 - Probably one of the most honest war films I've seen since We Were Soldiers.

You get to see that a lot of the soldiers in battle were sh*tscared, they were people, not some robot warriors devoid of emotion.

And they had normal lives back home, before, during and after the war.

The constant cut backs to Woodwards pre-war life I felt were done poorly.

They were mostly relevant, but I can't see why they didn't just stick with the movie in a timeline type storytelling. Instead of back and forth the whole time.

Last night I saw I Love You Too - a typical Romance Comedy with all the usual cliches.

Chicks will love it, blokes will find it mildly amusing, good movie to take a new GF to though, might even get a grope. It's an Aussie movie starring Peter Helliar and the guy who played Woodward in Beneath Hill 60.

helliar is abt as funny as anal warts

Ok so everyone's saying Iron Man 2 and Beneath Hill 60 are good movies. So what about How to Train Your Dragon?

brilliant. I downloaded a crappy copy of the film and yet i enjoyed it immensely... i can only imagine the film would be 10 times better on the big screen (if its still screening)

This month
Saw Clash of the Titans at the movies ... meh 3D hurts my eyes lol ... 6/10 just for the spfx

Re-watched An American Werewolf in London ... classic ! 9/10

Re-watched The Prophecy 1 and 2 with Christopher Walken Owning Hard as the Bad-arse Angel Gabriel. True movie gold ... The first movie has Walken, Eric Stoltz as Simon, and Viggo Mortenson comes close to stealing the show from Walken as Lucifer.

Oh, and Boondock Saints II: All Saints day. Doesn't hold a candle to the original but was still pretty entertaining cos it was not so much about the brothers as it was Il Duce. Out of repect for the people who haven't seen it I wont give any more away and for those that haven't seen the first one do yourself a favor and see it.... then see the sequel.

I think I preferred the sequel. Both great.

Wow! Each to their own and everything but that's a big call. I wasn't too impressed with the new sidekick nor was I taken with the FBI agent. Sure, Julie Benz in the cowboy get-up doing gun slinging tricks was hot but the character was nowhere near as good as Paul SMecker.

Speaking of Willem Dafoe I saw "Streets Of Fire" last night. Also rewatched "Hot Fuzz ". Don't remember it being that good although it doesn't hold a candle to "Shaun Of The Dead"

I saw Food Inc today. Don't know if anyone else will rush out and see it but it was a great doco, far better than any tripe Michael Moore does.

finally watched Taken.. heard about it for a while, but just never got to watch it.

Pretty good tbh, nice action film but:
ending seemed rush and could've ended better in so many ways
