The Beaver (with Mel Gibson). Was expecting a comedy based on the premise but it was a serious drama about depression. I thought it was very good and Gibson reminded me why he is/was such a big star, great performance. 8/10

The World's End

Went in expecting it to not be as good as Hot Fuzz but was surprised. I really liked it, and it had some great scenes. I enjoyed the role reversal from Shaun of the Dead. Simon Pegg's character was really funny.

lesbian vampire killers

one of those ones that's so bad it's good but done that way on purpose
If that's up your alley, I think you should watch... big tits zombie (seriously, that's the real name of the film)... and given the pics you post in the hot woman thread, I think you'll like it ;-)

Some chick recommended Zero Dark Thirty to me.

So having read all the rave reviews and all that shit, I thought it would be a gun movie.

To say it was the shittiest of the ittiest shit I have ever seen is an understatement.

The only good thing about it was seeing John Turturro and that black dude (both gun actors) and poor old Tony Soprano (may he RIP) - apart from that, what a f**ken shit film.

Didn't even get through it, I figure the second half was made of of more interview and torture scenes?

Watched Top Secret! again on TV last night for the first time in many years, still as stupidly funny as I remember when I first found about it in the mid-90's. Love it!

A few gags I wouldn't have got back in the day either which were basically new to me (e.g. death by Anal Intruder)

Still sits amongst Hot Shots, Naked Gun, Airplane/Flying High & Waynes World as my favourite comedies of all time.

It was f**ken shit aye. I just bought the book, so will take that for a spin to see if it is better than the film.

The Gatekeepers. Boss but scary film.

Armageddon. For all the Michael Bay hate, this movie still rules. Normally its Buscemis character i love most. But right now the guy who discovered the comet needs some appreciation.

Wife- Does it looks like i have the word slave written across me?
Husband -GET THE BOOK! GET THE BOOK! GET THE BOOK!

What a legend.

Con Air after all these years still one of the best actions films to come out of the 90's

The Disappearance of Alice Creed.

This movie honestly f**ks you up big time and goes into great detail of what kidnap victims, particularly young women, may go through.
