Train to Busan. If you like Zombie/Infected movies then this should be on your to watch list. Very entertaining and a good story.

Ok I'll check it out.

I was going to watch Inferno, but I'm boycotting Hanks for his anti-Trump bs! Cast Away will never be the same for me again!

Saw this a while ago but if you're a fan of Japanese cinema then I reccommend '13 Assassins'.

Absolutely brilliant flick about samurai towards the end of feudal Japan. Very much in the spirit of Seven Samurai.

More planes.

Man Who Knew Infinity. Interesting true life story about an untrained Indian mathematician who traveled to Trinity college before ww1. Well done for essentially dull subject matter.

Conjuring 2. Creepy and a good spooky flick.

War craft. Set up for a sequel which I will most likely not see but then again I am not their main target audience. Was ok for what it is.

Shallows. Decent shark movie. Lead chick's arse is superb

Turbo Kid.

A Canadian dystopian nuclear winter 80's pastiche with splashes of OTT cartoonish Troma-style gore and violence.

A little indie ripper that has heaps of heart and soul, with dollops of fun that can help you oversee the obvious flaws in the script, FX, etc.

And it's got the great Michael Ironside in it.

The soundtrack is totally cool too. Sort of 80's kid/teen movie meets Daft Punk.

A netflix exclusive film about the Irish Army defending an outpost in the congo against mercenaries in the 1960s.

I wasn't so taken with it. Been a few months since I saw it. Started well. Then sort of fell into a hole.

Deepwater Horizon.

Really good movie. The director sure knows how to make an intense movie. He directed Lone Survivor and you can see similarities with the intense non stop action sequences.

The good dinosaur. Not one of Pixars best films but still a lot to like in it. It is gorgeous for one. Has a few good jokes and some sweet moments. Worth a viewing.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes - a total train wreck of a movie. The more you watch it, the more you want to see of it. A Z-grade classic which I can't rate out of ten for reasons obvious to those who have already seen it.

Django Unchained - took me a long time to get around to watching this delightfully violent piece of Tarantino celluloid. For a person who is a self confessed racist (only towards those of other races who have wronged me in the past), this movie has taken the edge somewhat off my racism. As a 5th generation white Anglo-Saxon Australian, this movie served to further confirm my hatred of the white American culture. As a movie, 7.5/10. As the way it has changed my thinking, 9.5/10.

Just finished watching my favourite movie of all time Dazed and Confused, it's truly a masterpiece in my opinion with so many brilliant performances. I've seen it about 50 times but it never loses it's touch. There is precious few films that are able to capture nostaliga in the way 'Dazed' does, Stand by me and Almost Famous both of which are in my top 10 come close but don't quite replicate that feeling like Linklater does.

Just did the Groundhog Day - Lost in Translation double. A tradition of mine. Both 10/10.

I find them to be transcendent movie experiences. Bill Murray is just such a uniquely talented actor.

He has a gift that I can't quite put my finger on. And the phrase "I can't imagine anyone else in that role" has never been more appropriate.

Lost In Translation literally goes up my all-time favourite movie list after every repeat viewing. It's entrenched in the top 5 now.
I still haven't seen "Lost in Translation". I have to give it a go sooner rather than later. Bill Murray is an absolute genius....totally agree with you. He has appeared in a lot of movies where the movie may well have fallen apart if it were not for him. I like "Ghostbusters" but in all honesty, it is overrated. The performance of Murray really carried that movie to the status it has today.

I saw "Quija: Origin of Evil". One of many horror movies in that it starts and progresses well....but does not quite know how to end.

Check out 'Everybody Wants Some!!', Linklater's latest.

It's the closest thing he's done to Dazed and Confused.
