The martian. 7/10. A really good film that was brought down by some poor casting. Not sure why Ridley wanted Jeff Daniels fresh off dumber and dumberer, Kristen Wiig and Donald Glover. All of them kind of sucked the seriousness out of the film.

Is this the one with Jason Bateman? Personally thought the ending was an anti-climax. I was expecting some sort of shocking twist, clearly expectations too high....

Watch "The Dead Room" on Halloween night, new Kiwi horror film set in a remote rural cabin as a group of three people investigate supernatural goings on.

Not too bad but by the same token not amazing - kinda like the Kiwi version of Paranormal Activity, mix of AAAHLOUDNOISES and things moving by themselves, with tension building to a little bit over the top climax considering it is based on an actual urban legend from somewhere in the South Island.

Teen Wolf.

What a f**king shit movie it is these days. I remember being a kid and watching this and thinking it was a great movie. Reminds me when I recently watched the Never Ending Story and being let down by my imagination/expectations that it was still good.

I will say Princess Bride held up well overtime.

As you can tell, I had a 80's week when I was at home sick last week.
