Miller is a young fella needs to go play nsw cup for a couple of years he might come up okay. Molten at half and left there for the season no matter what, Tedesco at fullback, it can't get much worse

This is what needs to happen in the backs. Moltzen might be replaced with another option in the halves such as Sirro if he continues his weak play but he shouldn't get another chance at fullback.

Anasta should be in reserves as well. Make those changes and we will look a lot better.

No f**k Moltzen. He has been shit whenever the pressure is on. If he is in the NRL side next week I am bringing a bag of f**king rocks to pelt at that gormless, weak knee'd metal skull plate motherf**ker

lol hahaha holy crap that made me laugh .

Where to from here?

Potter has to go looking for a new coaching team. I'm sorry but Royce has been here before and is not what we need and I don't think Georgalis (sorry for the bad spelling) is the right man either. I was bitterly dissapointed in our structure in defence tonight. I thought our up the middle defence was actually okay. It's when they went wide and hit the edge where we crumbled. Why on earth were the wingers playing so compressed Newcastle created so many 3 on 1 overlaps.

Potter needs fresh ideas not stale ones from a team that has been around Sheens.

The players need to be put on notice and if they don't perform and results don't come, they get released. Potter surely would have already have one eye on next year for players that he believes would suit his style of play.

I have a lot of faith in Potter and I believe he is the man to put us back up in the running for a title but it ain't going to happen tomorrow. As much as I dislike Sheen's tactics over the last few years you have to admit what he did in his first 3 years at the club was amazing.

If Potter can find a Pat Richards, Scott Prince, Brett Hodgson (Tedesco?) and Paul Whaturia just as Sheen's did then anything can happen.

How many chances in how many positions does he need.

He looked great running off Benji on the back of amazing go forward during the unbeaten with moltzen at halfback streak people love to bang on about.

But go back and watch those games. His highlights are all running lines off Benji, he offers nothing else, couldn't kick a nerf ball and is a poinless merkin

The whole team played crap not fair to be singling out players.
I think the question needs to be what has the coach been doing in the off season and and what has he done to get the team prepared for there first game of the season?
To me it looked like nothing had changed from the last few years.

Really its like 2012 revisited, same shit team producing the same shit result,if Potter wants to win he cannot afford to keep carrying to many liabilities .Moltzen,Utai,Reddy should be stamped never to play Nrl again,Anasta got bashed tonight in the forwards so he most likely will join them if they dont move him to the halves.

Re: Where To ?

Sadly in a race for the spoon with the Warriors. We have no D and very little in attack to worry other teams. Looks like a long season.

Have to agree on this one. , altho i dont rate him at all he would still do a better job than Utai and Moltzen . But in saying that we have better talent available then the 3of them.
Meaney to fullback for starters until Tedesco is 100% He.may not be fancy but he has a football brain and the balls to have a go.

What Perth Tiger said,
Unfortunately you can't sack half the team after one game so limiting the changes surely Moltzen and Utai must go, simply not good enough for first grade. The rest just played like shit

As a team the rest played like shit but gee, thanks for the effort by Farah.
Big Red took it up with purpose but still the same ole, i.e. not running onto the ball from any depth.

Woods tried hard when he came on,

FootynRacing, said
Can i just say i always thought Fulton's strength was his defence, has he forgotten how to tackle ? He made some bad mistakes tonight in defence.
Fulton, seemed to have the duty of marking Mason and did a good job but when Mason went off, Fulton fell off.

Marshall, gee good thing he played as we needed him to take the kicks for touch and kick on the 5th

Next Week,
Assume Pettybourne will come into the 17.
I hope Reddy getting a start tonight doesn't mean he is the front runner to take the spot of Utai.

Did anyone see how the NSW Cup team went on the weekend?

Speaking of morons, weren't you suggesting playing Anasta at 6 after the Foundation Cup Trial?

Lets be honest we have 2 options at 6 at the moment - Anasta or Moltzen and that is assuming we play Benji at 7.

Still point taken - I got that one wrong.

I rate him as a solid 1st grader, but to attack the guy (not you) for doing his job when he was on the field for 10 minutes in a side that was beaten when he went on is a bit ripe.

How did Blair go? Any improvement on effort from last year? I know he was playing in a beaten side but effort still sands out.

I honestly think that tonight all game down to nerves. We barely completed any sets due to stupid errors and dropping the f**king ball.

I think Miller went fine and could not have been expected to do any better with the lack of possession. I think it may be time past for Utai however, we need wingers who can actually contest for a ball lol.
