A few more for the list...

I actually think every team has one veratile player in the sqaud,

Parra: Wags, Widders and PJ, Morris

Canberra: Tonque, Croker

Broncs: Carrol and McGuire, S Berrigan

Sharks: Bird and Hilder, Vagana

Manly: Dunley, Menzies, Williamson

Melbourne: Crocker, Cronk, Geyer, Hill

Newcastle: Abraham, K Gidley

NZ: Koopu, Fien, Anderson

Saints: Timmins, Young

Cowboys: Norton, Justin Smith, Jensen, Faiumu

Souths: Sutton and Rigon, Champion

Penrith: Waterhouse, Campbell, Rodney, Swain

I'm sure there's many more I've missed.

The above players can slot into many different postions at short notice, Utility players are regarded as specialist in the game today, they're vital to any sqaud.

tbh, I dont Wagon has offered anything in the last couple of seasons, I think since he didnt pass the ball against Penrith when he shouldve in 2003, he hasnt been in good form. People say we need him for his defence, but I think even his defence has been poor, not reading the play very well and making costly mistakes.

Wagon must step up this year, otherwise I dont see why he should stay at Parramatta.

for all we know, he could be Wags himself!!

JT, if you are wags - mate, I have all the admiration in the world for you. You have done a great job, on most occaisions when asked to step up to the plate. You are a stop gap player at best. Well done, for being chosen on the Qld team, during a time when parra were looking good, and everyone stood out.
Others in here, talk of you as a god - your amazing pass last year that led to a try (was that a throw and hope? or did you really think you were Campo?), your ability to tackle tall buildings and leap speeding trains (hmmm , think thats out of order).
Im guessing they are right, when they say your a really nice guy, and I think thats good, cause I am a really nice guy too. I think we probably have a lot in common - sit on the pc and type bullsh*t all day - dont look out of place in a library - unable to pass a football without someone calling out "hospital pass" - we were both born in the seventies.

JT, if you are wags, I dont know why you would open this can of worms again. But, for the record, I dont think you have anything left in the tank sunshine, and its time to move along.Thank you for your solid efforts - time to give someone else a go. You wont be forgotten (believe me - just read some of the posts defending you).

I think JT has just used the wrong word. Hate is very strong word and has probably been used in the wrong context.

But then again a lot of people on this forum will stick up for nearly an player who dons the blue and gold regardless of ability. Sometimes we need to take of the blue and gold glasses and have a look at our players and their performance in reality. Examples of how good he was in 2001 are irrelevant, that was 5 years ago.

IMO wagon was a good NRL level player, that in its self is no small feat. But his time is probably over and there are better players in the squad that can fill his position on a regular basis. There is no need to cut him loose before his contract ends, until then he would act as a valuable utility in times of injury and rep duties.
