well theres 2 dragons teams. the sublime and the ridiculous. if the sublime team turns up they can beat anyone on their day (expect maybe the storm). but they dont show up near often enough.

Wow, that sounds really familiar....:x:(

Last round really gave me no more confidence in who the top 8 is.
Still I think at this stage it's probably the Knights and the Raiders who have the spots in their sights.
In general I think Tigers/Knights and Raiders will compete.
But I don't think that Tigers are consistent enough or have enough intensity to make it into the 8.

What I mean is Newcastle are losing Buderus next year and the Raiders are out for blood, considering intensity the Warriors should be there as well but I think they'll just miss out - Their halves are just not good enough.

I think our terrible Points Differential will cost us the top 8 spot. It's a real pity because in recent weeks we have shown we can match it with the best, and now McKinnon is back could actually build some decent attacking flair.
If we lose more than 1 of our remaining games we are pretty much screwed, sadly.

Broncos are a bit inconsistant, they may just win two games to finish in 6th spot , dragons 5th, raiders or warriors, knights 6th ,8th vice versa

If we cannot win one game in the next 2 weeks, we do not deserve to be there, actually we probably dont anyway.

The Dragons will be in the finals. They should account for the Warriors at WIN comfortably. Friday night against the Broncos will be tough, though they got lucky with the injury to Hunt and Hodges being out hurt.

Knights are going to do it tough coming home. Canberra in Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane in Brisbane likely at full strength. I honestly can't see them winning any of those games.

I can also only really see them beating the Cowboys. However they did not look too bad against the Titans (who are understrength I know) so they could still surprise us.

Two big games with finals ramifications, and the other is a grudge match between Manly and the Bunnies.

Today:
Raiders v Knights. Winner goes to 26 and into 6th, loser still in the hunt, but outside the 8

Tomorrow
Eels v Tigers. Eels must win, if they don't, they are 4 points outside the 8 with only 6 points on offer - done deal. Tigers win will see them into the 8 ahead of the Warriors on +/-

Quite a few of the apparent experts thought newcastle were going to be too strong with their "stars" today aswell, so that kind of blows your theory out of the water given the cowboys and souths lack of starts at present

Souths and cowboys will have nothing to play for , plus canberra has to travel 2 weeks in a row , i wouldnt be surprise to see canberra lose fairly easy in both of those games

Ill admit, we havent travelled too well in the past, but ill wait until the siren in either game sounds before jumping to conclusions.
