I still think Knights are real chance.

Raiders will make it.

Broncos, Titans and possibly Dragons after they lose tomorrow will be looking very shaky.

I don't know how the Panthers can go with an injured Pritchard aswell.

IMO you need 28 points to qualify for a spot in the 8. Games left are;

Manly 30 Points, need to win 0 game from:
Roosters, Penrith, Melbourne, Souths, West Tigers, Gold Coast, Penrith.

Cronulla 28 Points, need to win 0 game from :
Brisbane, St George, Souths, Warriors, Roosters, West Tigers, Cowboys.

Melbourne 26 Points, need to win 1 game from:
St George, Gold Coast, Manly, Roosters, Penrith, Newcastle, Souths.

Roosters 26 Points, need to win 1 game from:
Manly, Cowboys, Parramatta, Melbourne, Cronulla, Souths, St George.

Brisbane 23 Points, need to win 3 games from:
Cronulla, Canberra, Warriors, St George, Gold Coast, Canterbury, Newcastle.

St George 22 Points, need to win 3 games from:
Melbourne, Bulldogs, Cronulla, Tigers, Brisbane, Warriors, Parramatta, Roosters.

Gold Coast 22 Points, need to win 3 games from:
Raiders, Melbourne, Newcastle, Cowboys, Brisbane, Manly, Tigers.

Penrith 21 Points, need to win 4games from:
Tigers, Manly, Raiders, Canterbury, Melbourne, Warriors, Manly.

Warriors 20 Points, need to win 4 games from:
Melbourne, Souths, Brisbane, Cronulla, St George, Penrith, Parramatta.

Raiders 20 Points, need to win 4 games from:
Gold Coast, Brisbane, Penrith, Newcastle, Souths, Cowboys, Canterbury.

Tigers 20 Points, need to win 4 games from:
Penrith, Canterbury, St George, Parramatta, Manly, Cronulla, Gold Coast.

Newcastle 18 Points, need to win 5 games from:
Souths, Parramatta, Gold Coast, Raiders, Cowboys, Melbourne, Brisbane.

Parramatta 18 Points, need to win 5 games from:
Cowboys, Newcastle, Roosters, Tigers, Canterbury, St George, Warriors

Looking at the draw I think if Newwie, and Parra dont win 2 of their next 3 games, they are goooone.

I don't think the Raiders will make it. I'm wondering about Penrith and Brisbane however- the Cowboys were awful from what I saw on Friday night, so it wasn't a good gauge of how the Broncos are going.

I can see you winning 4 games - Rabbitohs/Eels/Titans/Cowboys
losses - Raiders/Storm/Broncos

This would give you 26 points.

Raiders are good, but we've been really solid and not giving up so that could frustrate them.

Storm is our last home game, we save our best game for our last game so we could get an upset there, not counting on it though.

Broncos are no better than us right now.

Although Mullen could be out for the season which is a major problem.

I think we'll finish 9th to 12th.

If the raiders win their home games they would have an extra 8 points which would take them to 28 points which some are considering the cut off. Not only that but they are playing some sides they are competing for spots with at home, like Gold Coast (next week) and Penrith. If they were to beat the Gold Coast by more than 10 points and beat the Panthers, they would have jumped both those sides on the ladder.

The away games we have left are Brisbane, North Queensland and South Sydney. I think we can get at least one win out of that. Although knowing the Raiders they will lose every game left

If Knights and Eels win next round, which is definitely possible, we could be deciding each other's fate

Here's hoping we don't run them back into form..

this week imo will decide the top 8 if both penrith and GC win there games

cause it could put a 3 point gap in between the rest of the field

btw i think this week is gonna be exciting there are some great matches
Friday
5th-Brisbane vs 2nd-Cronulla
a real tough game that could go either way ,brisbane has a chance to get closer to a top 4 spot ,while sharks are still fighting for that 1st place

sat
9th-Canberra vs 7th GC
another one that could go either way ,Canberra have been on fire as of late esp at home will be hard to beat ,gc form has been up and down ,both have had wins over the roosters in the last few weeks

sat game 2
8-Penrith vs 10-Tigers
could go either way and is a vital sudden death game for the tigers a loss could end most teams hopes of making the 8 esp if the raiders cant beat GC, Payton and Hodgson are both due back so tigers fowards should be ready to go
while penrith had a impressive win over GC but Pritchard will be a huge loss for them

sun
11th-warriors vs 3rd-storm
this will be a big game(huge if storm beat dragons tonight)its a must win for the storm if they want top spot esp leading up to there round 22 match against manly
nz need to win to,so they can keep there finals hopes alive

11th-newcastle vs 13th souths
simple for souths a loss would knock them out of finals contention a win would give them a slim hope
newcastle may have one more chance depending if tigers and raiders win or lose

4th-Roosters vs 1st-Manly
3 weeks ago looked like it was gonna be a huge game ,but with 2 huge loses to roosters maybe not
hopefully the roosters can stand up and be the team that a lot of people know they can
must win game for manly to keep 1st

im really looking forward to this weeks games

Roosters have never beaten a team in the top 8 yet this year, so i cant see them beating manly, when they play the good teams the roosters have no game plan to match those sides, this is why the roosters are lucky they had an easy draw this year, they are in the top 8 on false pretenses

Wouldn't be ruling Pritchard out just yet. He copped his shoulder injury last week, and it was expected to be a season ending injury. But it wasn't as bad as first thought, and it's just a matter of pain management.

We're hoping he didn't doing anymore damage to it. If he's out, it will be a massive blow though. He was easily our best player against the Titans, and if he wasn't on the field we would have lost.
