I don't think Bunnies can make it.

Knights still can IMO.

Still yet to see the best of us. Buderus, Cross, Royal and Hilder still to come back.

So we can really build towards making the finals in '08.

Storm - Bulldogs - Sharks - Tigersr - Broncos - Warriors - Eels - Roosters

On current form we'd be lucky to win 3 games, IMO maybe 7th at best or tied for 8th. Very average today lads.

I think the Dragons next win will come against the Tigers, but these games will be great for finals preparations...that is if they make it.

Forget it. Our f**king "slump" is at it again. We'll play the Cowboys back into form next Friday. Disgusting. I've never been so angry.

Well, we're no closer to eliminating any teams from the finals race after this week

at the start of the year i said for us to make the 8 we'd need to win 3 away games. As we should win 10 home games for the year and with 3 away wins and the 2 byes, that gives us 28 points... we've now got the 3 away wins but we've already dropped 2 home games

our run home:

Roosters @ Bruce - Massive game, win this one and i recon we'll be sitting in a nice position to make the finals. Lose and we're going to struggle. 50/50 but for arguements sake ill say a loss... 18 points on the ladder

Titans @ Bruce - Should win this, we're a tough team to beat at canberra and the titans are without prince and bailey, sure they got up against the roosters but i cant see them maintaining the rage without their stars - 20 points on the ladder

Broncos @ Suncorp - We'll lose this but as with brisbane games we always play good footy so it'll be a tight game. 20 points on the ladder

Panthers @ Bruce - We've had the wood over penrith since elliott's coached them and at bruce i expect that to continue. Should win this game. 22 points on the ladder

Knights @ Canberra - Another home game, against a similarly placed side. The home ground advantage should be enough to over come a tough knights side. 24 points on the ladder

Rabbitohs @ ANZ - An away game that could very easily be winable, the rabbits will have lost their streak by then and might be out of Semi final contention at this point, if so they might put their cue in the rack for 08. We have a good record at ANZ too. If we lose one of our home games this is a vital one as its a chance to pick up points we'd otherwise should have secured at home such as the roosters game. 26 Points on the ladder

Cowboys @ DFS - The cows are sh*t and are going to struggle the rest of the year, they wont win many game and i think this is another winable away we need to be on 26 points coming into this game to be able to afford to drop it. Ill say lose. 26 Points on the ladder

Bulldogs @ Bruce - Dogs will be clear of the spoon thanks to the Cows but not near the finals so they will realistically have nothing to play for. At bruce with it all to play for, Canberra should have enough in them to win. 28 points on the ladder...

I like the Raiders, I hope they make it as they can probably beat most teams on their day. And it looks like they are starting to make 'their day' each week now.

Their centres are probably the form centres in the league atm, lot of strike power out wide.

7 Broncos 21
8 Panthers 19
9 Knights 18
10 Eels 18
11 Tigers18
12 Raiders 18
13 Warriors 18

Out of those I can see 3 teams out of the 8 pushing in, them being the Knights, Raiders and Eels - They are close enough and have room to improve, obviously.

The Panthers will drop out IMO, Broncos I thought were safe, but after yesterday who knows?

There is also the Tigers who I forgot. They could easily go on a run and make top 6. But once again they've been really inconsistent.

As much as I hate to say it your mob and the Raiders have more fight in them at the moment to slip into the 8.

The Eels are having a laugh.

If Raiders come into finals contention they'll be the team I get behind as a positive year and Neil Henry comes to Townsville with positivity to put into a camp that will be pretty low. In saying that I still don't know if they'll make the finals, they're just so unpredictable because when they win they don't scrape in...they play really really well but when they lose they're hopeless. It would be good if they made it though.
I don't think the 8 will change that much though.
Dogs - No.
Warriors - No.
Knights - Doubt it.
Eels - No.
Souths - Possibly
Tigers - Doubt it.

I think Canberra will definitely finish with 26 or 28 points and be in with a chance. It'll be close.

If Mateo is out for a few weeks then the Eels are definitely gone (I'm an Eels fan).

If Titans can spring one or two more like this week, then they might just make it ... but I think they will be passengers in the finals if that happens. Great achievement in second year of existence regardless.

So there's plenty to play for right now for a lot of teams!

Geeez the raiders have hit a purple patch.

At this point, there are 3 sides who CANNOT make it.

Souths, Canterbury, NQ.
