What a joke ay.

Not really a joke, but to say he is second best (atm the poll says that) is strange, no way is he a great peformer week in week out like some other props on that list.

For City he is great though.

I havent seen ruben Wiki do much ever since he joined the Warriors.

Paul Rauhihi is a good gamebreaker but makes too many mistakes.

And who the hell is Roy Asotasi and what team does he play for?

And axie, what the f**k are you on about? Im not here to bait anyone you stupid ass.

AlexM you should have checked the best forwards on NRL.com to construct your poll if you don't know every clubs best forwards well enough

Rauhihi and Asotasi who are both NZ internationals too ( you should bloody know them) are in the top 10 forwards in league right now

I voted Price who despite leaving the Dogs still commands my awe and respect. The charge-down king now gains more metres per game than any other other forward. The sun has set on Webcke's dominance, Thorn has even shaded Webcke in the numbers this year at the Broncos with more of everything

Who ever voted Danny Nutley give yourself a triple.

Any how much do you watch Nutley play? Maybe you should go look at his stats he is one the best, hard working props running around the NRL. Miles and miles better than any prop in your Melb. squad.

I'd love to have him at my club that's for sure.

Shane Webke is the best prop in the world by a country mile, i cant beleave some of the things i'm hearing on this forum, Price is 2nd for sure but you cant go past Webke! You will all find this out when the Broncos win the Grand Final this year. Fresh with no Rep footy since 97 he will be unstopable.

Jason Ryles should not be in any "best prop" list IMO, unless it's "best prop" at making errors, at giving away penalities, at soft hit ups etc etc.

Chook.

These polls will always be marred by bias.
What's the point really?
all the votes for steve price would negate that argument on this particular thread.

jason ryles has followed up a crappy origin with a crappy club performance.
i think he's thousands to hold his place in the nsw team. injuries have turned him into a shadow of his former self & it is embarrassing to see him play so meekly.
his one good game this year was against manly.
i admire the loyalty of the person who voted for him!

For those who think Webcke is the best, just compare his stats with Wiki's. Stats are ave/season

Wiki Tackles 27.6, hitups 17, metres gained 151
Webcke Tackles 26.2, hitups 14.4, metres gained 118

The 27 people that have so far voted for Webb, nutley, J cayless and Morley should give themselves upper cuts forthwith!!!

As should the person starting the thread who left Rauhihi and Wiki off the list (don't Kiwis count?)

Finally - I voted Price too - but di he have to shift to NZ to get the recognition he deserves??? I mean last year, many were saying that O'Meley was more important for the Dogs - pffftt
