There is no controversy. Hit got hit in the head. In rugby league you aren't allowed to hit blokes in the head. In rugby league, the game that was played on Friday night, if you hit someone in the head you will be penalised. It is unfortunate that it happened in golden point, but the right call was made. End of story.

It was a head high tackle and it was a penalty. End of story. Stop whinging Cowgirls.

Second warning guys, we've been told the story has ended twice now, I really think we should end the story less someone tells us a third time.

The bit about thinking his jaw was broken, the blood in the mouth, unable to eat solids etc was bullsh!t to try to save face. Watched it again today, and the bunnies water guy gave him a bottle to rinse his mouth after he got back on his feet, and the water he spat out was as clear as what went in. Unless his mum belted him again on the way home, his mouth would not suddenly start bleeding an hour or so later.

"We had a good weekend the previous round but a bad one this weekend," Harrigan said.

The most talked about tackle of the weekend, when Issac Luke lay on the ground at Homebush on Friday night to milk the match-winning penalty in golden point for the Rabbitohs, was also an incorrect call.

Cowboys coach Neil Henry said afterwards: "By deciding a game by a player getting a tap on the chin and then deciding to stay on the ground is unfair."

It was also an incorrect decision under the laws of the game. To prevent players from feigning injuries, a rule was introduced in 2009 that penalties could only be awarded on advice from the video referee on high tackles if the incident was serious enough to warrant the player going on report.

Yet on Friday night, James Segeyaro, the Cowboys player who tapped Luke on the chin, was not placed on report.

Therefore the penalty should not have been even awarded. And it could cost the Cowboys a spot in the all-important top four and a home game in the first week of the finals series.

Of course he wasn't taking a dive! You do realise that he wasn't able to take any further part in the game, don't you??

The simple reality is that nothing you say on the issue will be viewed as anything but the clubs mouthpiece defending a players action.

Didn't his own mother even think he took a dive?
