Who was better ?

I may get shouted down for this, but I would go with the Fredster.

Kenny had unbelievable skills but Fittler wasn't too shabby himself. He also had a few other strings to his bow such as being a 100kg ball player that could take the line on, break tackles and put anyone on the field that run at him on their backside. Not to mention he could put a cutout ball on a dime and had a varied kicking game. And the left foot step close to line was dy-no-mite!

Menzies or Tallis?
Not compairable, Fittler was better in every area of the game! Including achievements.

Bedeurus or Smith?

4 premierships, the two tries in 3 consecutive finals record, the golden boot, the Lance Todd trophy........................

Granted, Bert never spent a night in the Glebe lockup.

Cross. For 2 forgettable players, he was less forgettable.

Terry Lamb or Steve Mortimer?
Turvey, although Baa would make a strong case. Mortimer was an origin legend and was immensely talented.

I liked Cross, one of many underrated Steelers.

Interesting stat that Peter Mortimer has more points to his name than Steve despite scoring less tries and Steve having a couple of goals to his name. The change in the scoring system would be the culprit.

Steve Folkes or Jeff Hardy

Folkes. A terror in defence.

Chicka or Tingha?
Tough one Chicka was seemingly ageless and scored a great GF try, but Tingha also has a special GF moment albeit in a losing side. For consistency year after year I choose Blacklock.

Hmm barhill was your tougher get down and dirty player whilst goulay was more of a wide running back rower. I'll probably go barnhill

Brett hodgson or David peachey?

Tough one. Hodgeson by the slimmest of margins, only because in twilight years Peach seemed to get cute with his plays.

Sandow or Soward?

Soward by the length of the straight. His game may not be perfect, but at least he shows attention to detail with his kicking game and passing. He's a dangerous runner also. Sandow has yet to demonstrate any consistency or value to his side.

Paul Bowman or Shaun Timmins

Tough one. I think Timmo had more natural ability but was crueled with injuries. Bowman was reliable in attack and defense and didn't miss many games. Timmins at his peak gets the nod.

Ron Coote at Easts or Souths?
