We saw a few guys like Todd Lowrie, Anthony Quinn, Matt Kennedy and Riley Brown really take a step up in the last off season - which is what happens when you have a young squad - so who will be the big improvers this off season?
My tips;
George Carmont - George was vey jaded for the last half of the year after putting in a massive off season to get up to NRL standard fitness wise and playing his heart out for the first half of the year. He still had a lot to learn, but he was too burnt out to make improvements in his game. I think he will be a much better player next season after another good off season.
Dane Tilse - Last off season he trained with the Flegg squad - but this off season he will train with the seniors. He made a massive improvement during last season, and I think he will continue the rapid improvement in the off season - he will be our best prop next season.
Steve Witt - Took a step up to firstgrader last season, and eventually became a very competent one. He will be one of the 'boys' next year, and his game will improve because of it.
Riley Brown - a great athlete and a guy with a brilliant attitude as well. He will train the house down and waltz into firstgrade next season.
Blake Mueller - He had a hernia operation in the last off season and couldn't train really hard till well into the season - but the guy is a workaholic and will be our fitest player next year.
Matt White - Couldn't train till near the end of the season last year and only played a few games - but the 20 year old 110kg prop was starting in Premier League at the end of the season - a full off season of training with the seniors will have him bigger and meaner than Perry.
Reegan Tanner - another who had a very short season last year because of injury, but he is set to have a big off season and really improve in leaps and bounds.
Having Billy Peden and David Fairleigh pushing those guys in training will really push them along.
