In order:
1) Sivo;
2) Blake;
3) N. Brown (one dimensional);
4) Mahoney (passing has become poor and he thinks he can now make decisions and about the set that he is not experienced enough to make).
5) Jennings (Well, contract signed. Time to go back to doing nothing).

Mahoney I can cut some slack, however. If we had a back-up then he would get a rest, be a bit fresher and maybe a little crisper. But he needs to pull his head in and do what he is told to by his halves.

You think the coach or the team would believe they’re inexperienced enough to win?

Probably not, no.

But we don't have experienced campaigners in key positions; the Panthers can get away with Luai at 6, and an average fullback, because they have Koiroisau at 9, and Cleary at 7. Both players have a fair deal of experience (particularly with Cleary having already played Origin).

Dylan Brown will improve tremendously as time goes on, as will Reed Mahoney; both have already proven to be above-average First Grade players, but their decision-making can be found wanting at times (due mostly to their lack of experience at this level).

Mitchell Moses has 140+ games under his belt, and is talented enough to lead us to success.

But as our most experienced spine player, the onus is on him, imo, to lead the way, and demand that his team follows.

Gutherson, as skipper, did a brilliant job in Moses' absence, but he's got enough on his plate without having to fill in as a semi-fulltime playmaker.

Over to you, Mitch - you're probably the most skilful halfback in the NRL, and now it's time to stamp your authority on the competition.

Gutho would be wasted at centre imo, he needs to be able to move around on both side and up the middle, fullback suits his game for mine

He isn't dangerous though. All he offers is a dart from dummy half and a nice pass to the wing when we are close to the line.
High energy and works hard but he doesn't break tackles or make line breaks often. He is safe and a handy kicker but with 3 IN THE SPINE ALREADY having a good kicking game it isnt needed.

I think his defense is only average. Against Saints there was a try where the winger had almost been put in touch. Gutho was a little slow getting across and went in far to high to stop it. I reckon more then 50% of current fullbacks stop that try.

I love Gutho and he is a great player but he isn't the most dynamic fullback going around.
