Why do merged clubs perform so poorly?

You're not very bright are you?

I wasn't suggesting other clubs were following our lead.

I said if they were asset rich like we are and capitalised on it like we're trying to do then the clubs who are financially struggling might not be.

At least we wouldn't be handing out brown paper bags like your lot.
TBF most of your capitalizing has been to do up your LC to get more people playing pokies and buying a golf club with yet more pokies. I havent seen much investment in getting more fans through the gate or in selling members and merchandise from increasing your football clubs activity.

It's merkins like you are exactly why I wouldn't want WA back in the competition ever.

From West Coast to the Wildcats we don't need you feral merkins from across the Nullarbor in the NRL.

Dubai of the Southern Hemisphere, lol.

If that was really the case why is everyone leaving Perth for the east.

Brisbane and Perth have highest growth rates

ABS Director of Demography, Phil Browning, said: "Brisbane was closely followed by Perth with a population growth rate of 1.8 per cent. Third was Melbourne with growth of 1.6 per cent."

And so it goes on, be thankful we are keeping you merkins afloat with our continual strong economic performance.

'Woodside will press ahead with the biggest oil and gas development to be built in Australia in a decade, after sanctioning its $16.5 billion Scarborough project off Western Australia.'

You're a laugh honestly.

You're wanking off about crowds but the main tenant of HBF Park hasn't had crowds since it was the run down Perth Oval.

Even buying a former Premier League star and the Glory fans wouldn't fill a phone box.

nice deflection, wtf has perth Glory got to do with anything lol? Ironically the debut game of the washed up EPL star last week saw a crowd of 17,100 turn out to HBF park!

anyway back to cronulla and the fact they have invested most of the sales of their assets into increasing pokie revenue.

Why do you hate Western Australia so much?

It's a beautiful state and a team from Perth would be a great addition to the NRL.

If the football department at the Cronulla Sharks had any sense they would relocate the club to Perth and rebrand as the West Coast Sharks. Red and sea blue would be a great colour scheme.

Why would I like a communist state run by a mad dictator who has shut the state itself off from the rest of the country?

I'm guessing you must still have 90's style dial up internet up there in Queensland but why would a club who is no longer struggling financially, owns it own ground and now has a multi billion dollar property development on club owned land, a centre of excellence about to be built want to relocate anywhere?

I am frankly fed up to the back teeth of mouthy Queensland merkins like you trying to tell Sydney what's best for Sydney.

Do yourself a favour and shut your trap and bow down to that fat dictator you clowns elected back into office.

You know two parts of f**k all about rugby league and Sydney in general.

Your last sentence makes no sense.

Wouldn't it be logical that only a very financially stable organisation could hand out paper bags willy nilly?

The Sharks have no room to grow in Sutherland Shire and their fanbase isn't large enough to make the club fiscally viable.

If The Reds and The Rams were bailed out as many times as The Sharks then RL would have a solid supporter base in Perth and Adelaide. Our game would generate more revenue from broadcasting rights because having a reach into five metro areas is better than three.

You must've been in a coma in 2000-2001 after Souths got kicked out.

Simple fact is unlike plastic franchises like the Cowgirls, Sydney clubs like Cronulla are the lifeblood of their communities.

You must be working for the AFL or the FFA calling for the Sharks to be relocated as if you weren't busy playing with yourself in 1999-2001 you'd realise losing clubs like Souths, Norths, Wests and Balmain pretty much gift wrapped the Sydney Swans a fanbase they didn't have previously.

Now thanks to the stupidity of the NRL, the Swans could go back to being as hopeless as they were in the 90's but they'd still get the crowds as the NRL clubs those fans followed are gone.

Why don't we move the Cowf**kers to Perth then?

Now that Thurston has retired you'll now go back to being as embarrassing as you were from 1995-2003.

Did you used to post on here as Stallion?

If The Sharks are the lifeblood of their community and The Cowboys are plastic, then why do The Cowboys have a larger fanbase and draw higher ratings across the country?

Cowboys fans travel 4 to 6 hours to attend home games. How many Sharks fans travel such vast distances?

Cowboys all-time average attendance for home games is 15,920, compared to a lousy 10,039 for The Sharks.

Even when The Cowboys are performing poorly on the field, they generate more on FTA and Pay TV than The Sharks.

Nope only have had the one account on here.

Generate more TV money eh? That's because there's two parts of f**k all to do in Townsville.

The Dragons and The Tigers have potential to be massive clubs, they just need a few things to fall their way. The Tigers have been hurt by other clubs plucking the guts out of their best juniors. Tim Moltzen was a good prospect but chronic knee injuries ruined his career. Nothing much will change at the Tigers until the boardroom becomes a singular unit with an identity.

Dragons are pretty much becoming a regional club.

If tigers can get it together on the field and find a place to call home then they have every potential to join souths, dogs,Mel’s and roosters as Sydney’s big clubs. Dragons are too nomadic these days and it’s telling, I think they’ve actually got significant issues they’ve been hiding or the media have been ignoring.
