Why Queensland have won eight straight

As far as rigging Origin games ... have you see the footage of Paul Gallen punching Nate Myles lately? Remind me what the punishment was for that.

One of the stupidest things I've read today, and that includes the dribble from the likes of Knock On.....

What a coincidence you're name is "rod". I remember I used things call "rods" in grade one to learn how to count to 10.

I remember that a "yellow" rod was equal to five. And a "green" rod was equal to three.

So just for you NSWers, if you add a yellow rod and a green rod, you get eight.

This may help you work out how a little thing about a series wins.

A "red" rod was equal to two. So if we had a yellow rod, and a green rod and a red rod, you get 10.

Took a Mercedes car to school actually. That had a three-pointed star on the bonnet. Two times three is six ... a number NSW referees struggle with.

Back to the point of the discussion here ... I remember the NSW press predicting a "NSW dynasty" after the two wins in a row.

What do you think we should call Queensland's run? "Dynasty" is just so arrogant and pretentious. The type of thing those who think they are in charge of the game, and are Lord and masters of a sport would come up with.

What a pathetic list. I pity anybody who takes some of those reasons seriously. I could give you just one reason why NSW is the Premier state:

1. A sense of identity that isn't completely reliant on sporting results- or comparing ourselves to other states, in the same way that nobody in Sydney could care less about the Sydney-Melbourne rivalry.

It's a NSW thing, you wouldn't understand...

i like dynasty because andrew johns and phil gould like to use it arrogantly in those famous 2 series wins, back to back. what a team they had! domination might better suit now, though. hard to see any end in sight. or lapping them, possibly. being owned would be a good way for mr gallen to address anyone from up here.

Quite. I could live with Mr Gallen saying something like, "Queensland has owned NSW for the last eight years".

Would be an improvement on the bleating and whinging like a girl we heard earlier in the year.

Yes the NSW "dynasty" ended a little prematurely didn't it?

I remember the show Dynasty on TV. People prancing around the screen acting like the owned the world. The NSW is like that, only with a commercial break for eight years.

11 "doos" ... totally agree Joker. My predicted length of Queensland's winning strength. We're finally seeing eye to eye.
