And while we are at it , the person who moved this thread from the NRL section to the Sydney Rooster section, is deadset kidding themselves.

So every thread in the NRL now dedicated to a team, goes to the relevant team forum?! Of course not.

SJ,

I moved it.

And my reasons why.

The start of your thread was

Why do the Roosters crowd draw so poorly at home, when...

So I thought the Roosters fans would be able to help you out. :D

If you had mentioned other teams crowd figures, it would have stayed, as that was talking about the game as a whole, not just one team.

Kaz are you kidding yourself?

In the same opening thread, the Knights, Souths, Penrith and Cowboys are all mentioned.

You've just opened a can of worms, as now any topic that focuses on any player or team, should going on your logic - be moved to the appropriate forum.

It should be moved back Kaz, and if you are realistic, you know it.

Musical Frock,

Whats the big deal...the only one's who'll care to rebut are us Chooks fans anyway...dont fret pet.

I moved it as I saw fit.

If you have a complaint about it, send a email here.

Sorry for going off topic people.

Seriously, if you have a personal issue or something, why don't you just PM me.

Going on the logic of this move, just about every topic in the NRL section can be moved to a different area.

Surely you can see that...

I'm not interested in making some " complaint " - this forum is hardly life or death to me like it is for some

If expressing some sort of superiority or power is your goal - well done

I will know not to start a thread about anything next time.

Motives  , yes wasn't that you with

Seriously , some will view this as a post to piss of Rooster fans ( well it kinda is )

It is called humour PP!

My post was hardly stirring, I gave the Roosters the ultimate wrap all through this thread. I wonder how many of your fans actually know 3 players names from Flegg without looking them up in Big League...

Melon is right.

The people of the Eastern Suburbs are only used to the very best.

And when the best is on offer the people come. And yesterday they were not playing the best.

Rugby league hjas bigger problems than Easts fluctuating home crowds.

Perhaps those with an axe to grind would be better of using their energies for the betterment of the game.

once again, blame shifted, no answers.

No axe to grind here, just thought someone would have an answer. Obviously not.

Jermaine Ale - Newcastle

Albert Hopoate - Wests

Ben Hannat - Qld

Mickey Paea - Clovelly Crocs and Waverly College

Peewee Moke - Endeavour Sports College

There you go Sportsjock. Any other questions?

Well done KFC!

Its a fine team isn't it?

I hope all your other fellow fans are as interested as you are, because if they saw them play, they'd know how great some of them may be.

Nice to see one local boy in the team too

I bet you didn't even know that Flegg didn't play on Sunday so that obviously affected our crowd.

On average this is a very consistently crappy thread with a low IQ turnout.

Ed I answered the question.

Roosters fans only come out when we play quality opposition.

KFC, that was stated in the first post of this thread, the question is why doesn't any body show up to watch their team play in certain winners.

It is a fine team and I have high hopes for Iosia Soliola and Sam Perrett who've already made the move up to Premier League.

Anyway, if the sisters want to gang up and show their Power on here, then so be it.

The topic shouldn't have been moved, and regardless of personal issues, common sense would tell people that.

I know Willow and most other mods, who I often don't see eye to eye with, wouldnt do such a thing. At least they are fair. And I respect them for that.

That's enough SJ. Asking the question is one thing, bagging out on moderators is another. Read the rules old son.

Ed, simply because they're certain winners.

Look I go to every home game but a lot of my mates will only go when they feel it's going to be a good contest.

They all love the Roosters but football is not their life.

Perhaps we have a higher than normal contingent of bandwagon supporters?
Perhaps Rooster fans only like a contest?
Perhaps we're just doing our hair?

You want an answer Ed, take your pick! If you dont' like any of those answers Ed, make one up yourself. That way at least it'll be another 2 months, 3 days, 14 hours and 38 minutes till another stupid thread about Rooster fan numbers comes up again

Fuq me some people are either too thick or too ignorant to use their own brains!!

Chook.

It's a good thing Knights have a consistent turn-out and they never have fluctuating crowds...

2001
R19 Melbourne 48 (8-8-0) 16 (3-2-0) W 15-Jul-2001 21367
R21 Canberra 54 (9-9-0) 26 (4-5-0) W 29-Jul-2001 9356
R24 St_Geo-Illa 12 (2-2-0) 38 (7-5-0) L 17-Aug-2001 20234

Fair enough it's not like our fluctuations, but that's what the world's all about. If everything was the same, where would these sort of threads go?

If you want to put a different spin on it, how about we say something like:

Why is it that Knights fans don't turn out in big numbers for the important games? Don't they care enough to show their support when they really need it? It's like the same old crowd just turns up every week for the sake of turning up ... or because they've got nothing better to do? Maybe they're too busy sitting at home obsessing about other teams crowd figures!?
