Yes these 'fans' seem to ignore the truth and facts and come up with some lame excuse... 'Oh umm, all the other teams are a one team town and umm we were too busy sipping lattes on the shores of bondi :lol: '

But as sportsjock said.. Your crowd figures fluctuate.. You will get a 25,000 crowd to a game against a top team where all ur bandwagoner poser fans turn up then you will get a sub 10,000 crowd to a game where the true fans turn up..

Once again. this isn't about averages, it's about consistency.

in 2002, the year you won the competition, you had 4 figure crowds at 7 games, including 4 in a row!
I'm not having a go at you OR the Roosters, but you claimed the facts didn't support the argument. and here are the facts that do.

The Roosters have a very professional front office. Since tax is paid on gate receipts do you really think they'd last long over-stating their income?

As a football fan first and foremost, I attended the Roosters v Warriors game in 2002. There was a small crowd then, and we all know the type of footy the two teams were playing that year.

I was there too. 18186 is not what you'd a call a small crowd. Easts belted them that day by over 40 points. It was overcast and nearly raining.

Averages isnt the argument here.. It is consistancy.. The roosters go from a 26,000 crowd to a 10,000 crowd... Its pathetic considering how successful they are.

So that being the case, and PP pointing out the home AND away averages, it is safe to say you draw 4,000 more AWAY from home than you do at HOME?
