Yea, maybe you can tell me why we miss out on all the good players and instead end up with players with potential. I truly don't think Millward is on the ball; he has too many nana naps.

No, Millward is doing a FANTASTIC job! He let Dugan walk....remember?

Deep sigh :pensive:

Hold no ill will against Gareth if he want's to go home and finish his career in England and the injury may have hastened his decision.

He's been a great club captain, won Dally M five eight in the Red V and played when his shoulder was cactus and gave up playing for his country for the team.

Did you miss Lomax missing a penalty goal right in front of the “sticks” against Newcastle?

Even Lafai is a better goalkicker.

I've been around the block quite a few times in my life. I really can't remember know of a first grade goal kicker who did not miss a goal right in front.

I think you would do better to focus on the vast majority of great goal kicks that were successful, some right near the sidelines.

That was a shocker. However, wasn’t it his second kick in first grade? Probably feeling the nerves. From memory he nailed a couple of sideline conversions after that.

His conversion rate is about 84 percent which is the same as Widdop.

This is why I don’t believe it’s anything more than a made up story.
I get periods of incredible homesickness but I gave up a life and a career as a 31 year old, I have something to go back to if I really decided I couldn’t stick it out here anymore.
Widdop was still a kid his life and those of any of his friends will have changed so much he can’t ever go back to that even if he wanted to.

We don't want you back ;-)

Joking aside,good post.

Well, this is a shit way to start the day.

I wonder how good his shoulder really is. Maybe it’s cactus. Maybe playing in England is a now or never thing.

Or maybe he’s got wind of Mary being re-signed and is outta here :joy:

Whatever the reason, very disappointing news.
Keep rationalizing champ.
I'm sure you'll eventually work it out.

If it turns out to be true, it's a massive loss....

I have no issue with him leaving due to his reasoning...it's a bit odd with the timing. If Widdop then decides he wants to come back to AUS within the next 3 years, he has to come back to the Dragons.

If Norman is the Dragons target, then I suggest we sign him now and let Widdop go now. Parramatta are desperate to sort out their cap so I'm sure we could get Norman with no trouble.
How about this for 2019.
