Wasn't Harry mates with Sheens' as well? I wouldn't be surprised if that's where the push to get rid of Potter comes from either.

Harry and Balmain go back before Sheens , but who knows what shit is going on at top level.

yeah and I'm sure I have read that a few players have purchased (invested) in Meriton Apartments over the years.

Sure someone said that Potter is in a Meriton Apartment on the water at Abbotsford.

Point is, we look like we have lost the sponsorship of Harry - maybe Tiger Air might be a good match?

David Smith obviously understands the significance of the South West Growth Centre and its importance to RL.

The establishment of a Board consistent with Smith's conditions is long overdue.

The WTs should be one of the flagship clubs in Sydney. The Oran Park development alone will be bigger than the city of Canberra. The club has an opportunity to build a dynasty.

A new modern home ground and training facilities in Oran Park or another location in the South West Growth Centre should be a realistic goal.

The fact a new centre is located away from Leichhardt and also Campbelltown should go some way to appeasing JV partners.

Unbelievable when you think our major sponsor wasn't consulted concerning the Balmain Leagues Club development, that whole saga reeks of something under handed if not cronyism .

I don't see Siro's best position next year as back row.

I like him at 6, Brooks at 7 and Anasta left right out.

Move him to backrow when Moses has filled out which is likely to be 2015.

Curtis looked to be lacking confidence in his shoulder. When Souths scored one of the tries, he appeared ready to use his arm to pull in the Souths player just on his outside and then pulled it back.

Potter said about a month ago that Sironen was carrying an injury and couldn't go a full 80. Yet everyone was still whinging that he was starting on the bench.

I think that tonight proved that Potter had it right, Siro should be coming off the bench next season as an impact player. Aside from Ava, we had zero impact off the bench tonight.

Totally agree re the bench. Souths really got a roll on from their bench in comparison. Would be nice to see a few different faces fill the bench next week, to at least serve as a trial for next season

I don't know.

Potter gets his first real go to assess and coach the team he now knows.

If Blake has a stellar off season I see him starting

I think our team will be something like this to start the year:

1. Tedesco
2. Nofoaluma
3. Simona
4. Lawrence
5. Richards
6. Anasta
7. Brooks
8. Galloway
9. Farah
10. Woods
11. Fulton
12. Murdoc-Masila
13. Blair

14. Taupau
15. Sironen/Austin
16. Sue
17. Seumanufagai

I'm a big Austin fan and would also like to see him be our 6, however I think potter will go with experience first up. We'll have a lot more depth next year. Guys like halatau, Paterson, Thompson, Buchanan, korobeite, brown etc as back up are a lot better then what we've had to use this year. If the halves work out I really this as a top 8 team. Plenty of pace and size in the backs, forwards will hold their own and a lot of impact from the bench.

Why do people still think Anasta will be the 6?

Potter has to win more games next year, or he will be out on his rear end.

He will pick the best 17 players to achieve this, regardless of how much players are getting paid.

"wIll 2014 be any better" Not if Anasta is in our side ! Cant believe a guy with such experience in the game at all levels can be so shit.

Anasta started out good last night. His kick off that went into touch and a nice kick to the in goal to earn us a repeat set. Then he passed to Thurston and he was back to his old self again.

I thought Farah had an uncharacteristically poor game, but the young blokes looked the goods. Simona and Tedesco are great competitors.

I know we always say it but F*#k we need some forwards who have a bit of mongrel and be dominant. We talk about our pack for next year and mention Woods and Galloway as our best 2 but ive come to the conclusion that Keith is nothing but a plodder and we need FAR more than what he can offer . Seriously the guy is a giant but he is weak as piss 99% of the time , I want some forwards who will try and get though the line and not f**king amble up and try walk their way down field ! FIRE THE f**k UP KEITH !!!

Yeh he gets to me like that too.

Im not sure Tapau & Gavet will add too much next year, Bell does little for me also.
